"Thank you for a ruined night, Mister French. Establishments expect patrons to make and abide to their reservations, often made several weeks in advance, but Mister French shared no common courtesy when they chose to “temporarily shut their doors” and leave guests standing on the street. Arriving to our 8pm reservation we found the restaurant dark and the doors locked. There was no signage indicating the temporary closure, I hadn’t been contacted by the restaurant about closing, yet received an email and text message that I had to confirm I’d be showing for my reservation. Other patrons found themselves in the same position when they arrived. At the very least Mister French could have posted on their social media, after all, after looking through comments on their last post they responded to a comment that they’d only be “temporarily closed,” so clearly they were aware. I would proceed with caution before making a reservation at Mister French since they flippantly lock their doors on waiting guests and lack all professionalism when it comes to alerting them of a known, expected, closure."
