"I really like this place and have been quite a few times. My only complaint I was excited to try their coffee, which is from Dark Horse Roasters next door to them, but was disappointed because it tasted really old. I should have stuck with alcohol like I usually do! Awesome spot for kids and for watching Sunday football."

"Food was good, great location! Service started off really well, but they did sort of forget about us for a while. We had someone join us late and server took forever to notice and come take an order for him. "super cool, relaxed restaurant/bar for a date. that was delicious. I had the karbachburger with trufflefries and my man had the pfefferschokolade. we ate everything, accompanied by karbach's robust beer options, were happy and satisfied. I visited the Schwager shop and got a plough hoodie to wear when I am on the go, so I can play houston and karbach. overall we have left full and happy. they often add this to our places. everyone should experience at least once while brewing and how happy we are in houston."

"Made reservations for Sunday brunch via Open Table. Received confirmation AND A REMINDER before the reservations. Dutifully sent the “yes, we will be there” message via Open Table to the restaurant which I later confirmed they received. Arrived on time but was told they do not serve brunch, restaurant closed, but they couldn’t be bothered to call/email or cancel via Open Table. Inexcusable. We drove an hour to get there to eat before an early afternoon show. Bar/lobby restaurant was suggested as an option, but it was very noisy from all the guests checking out. We had parked in their garage. When we went to leave, their gate reader malfunctioned. Took about fifteen minutes to get ourselves let out. NEVER AGAIN."

"UPDATE FOR NEW LOCATION The new location feels more like a warehouse than a family environment. There is more seating. That is a plus. The food seems to be okay. I didn't see any “specialty burgers” on the new menu. The wraps were very good. There was only 1 dessert (cheesecake) The outside area was not open because it is March in Chicago suburbs. "Fantastic food, awesome staff! We stopped by on our way to New Orleans from MN, had awesome tacos and Chakchouka. Thanks to the really great man at the bar today that served us, fresh-squeezed us some fantastic fresh grapefruit juice, was very informative about the menu, traveling in general, and had a very gracious, genuine personality. I wish this restaurant was back in MN. If I'm in St. Louis again, I'll be back. Food here is dangerously delicious. Beware."
