"eating is excellent. we enjoyed the crudo, monterey uni spaghetti, and the pig special for two carved table side and served three possibilities, including a crispy pork bell discs. the sommelier said he worked 5 years at kenzo after I noticed that he had Kenzo label on the weeping list. he manages to store a good sort, although no cellar is working. they have done a lot to improve the space, since alx, the bent banquets are comfortable and provide excellent private sphere. it still feels a bit cold inside, but maybe now from the lobby of a Swank hotel in west la. we were greeted at the reception in a cold night with a cup of glowing wine that was inviting. the personal was attentive and friendly and competent. the restaurant still develops its own character, but the team should know that they have a Michelin cook to come back."
