"Food was good, staff was nice.However, this restaurant has the so called “employee benefit surcharge.” I didn’t notice it and already left some tips, and there wasn’t a way to opt out from what I remember, so my $12 something salad ended up being more than $17. When I asked the staff about the surcharge (haven’t seen it before), she said it’s a California thing, which didn’t seem to be true after I came home and did my research. Not sure if I feel comfortable coming back to this restaurant."
