"We came here for dinner one night to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful time. The place was perfect for get together. The music is not too loud and we can talk without screaming you can hear each other no problem. We had an amazing waiter that night. He was so attentive very helpful. The food was good and the service was great. The only downside was a little pricey."

"Although we had used open table to make the reservation, Penn Taproom had no record of it. Apparently online reservations are tracked differently by them and there was an oversight in noting our reservation. We had to wait about an hour for a table to open up. Staff was not very apologetic for the oversight. I think most restaurants would have offered a drink while waiting given that the wait was completely their fault. They initially told us it would be a 15-minute wait so it didn't seem to be a big deal but an hour is excessive. If we go there again, I will call in my reservation."
