"I dined at Oxalis in January 2022, ordering the tasting menu. They served absolutely exquisite food.... and it easily the best meal I have ever eaten! The service was excellent, and the COVID protocols were fantastic. As for the menu, I absolutely adored every single dish I ate! The dishes were creative, bright, and flavorful, mixing ingredients that you would never imagine together. My personal favorite was the crispy turnip en presse with dried shrimp and fermented bean; it was an incredibly flavorful bite with some amazing textural elements! The carolina gold rice was another star, being the most incredible rice I have ever had. We loved the main proteins, including scallops, razor clams, and duck (especially the dry aged duck which was amazing!! . The dessert was a perfect touch of sweetness, with some amazing sorbet. The kitchen is also able to accommodate dietary needs as well. The meal was paced perfectly, and we did not leave feeling stuffed or rushed. Oxalis was absolutely phenomenal, you must try their amazing cuisine!"
