"This is easily one of the best restaurants in Sacramento. I hold that in high regard because I am a Sacramento native who absolutely loves the foodie scene here. Their farm to fork menu is inventive and unique. Cocktails fresh and balanced; even a classic like Negroni was surprisingly different. Their wine list includes natural wine; local producers (Haarmeyer and Perch) as well as other small producers around the globe and stateside. Their seasonal menu keeps you guessing but some staples are the pork belly (I typically don’t eat this but it’s so so good here), white bean hummus and beef tartare. Please don’t be fooled by the “cafe” label; this is a gourmet experience for fit for a special occasion, date night or just a solo every day meal. The whole chicken is my husband’s fave! My only regret is not trying this place sooner!"
