"This small campus candy shop is really great. While I do agree with some of the previous reviews that the sweets are a bit overpriced, I believe that customers come here for the nostalgia factor, to see sweets from their childhood, or simply for the comfort of having all the sweets in one place. You can select your sweets, put them in a bag, weigh them, and then pay. During my visit yesterday, I paid $3.74 for 1/4 pounds of candy. Some of the regular sweets may be cheaper at Walmart or Target (for example, a candy bar was around $1.59), but this shop is a charming place to admire sweets and remember the treats of your youth. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful."

"The burger and fries should be a simple meal. The burger was very dry and it was salted a lot. Combined with the bacon on the burger it was inedible. The fries were soggy or too crunchy depending on the fry. I think the large grease spot under the basket was most concerning. Service was slow and there wasn't anybody there yet"

"We went to my mother's birthday on Saturday night. I definitely recommend reservations. Our waiter was very nice. Great family restaurant atmosphere. When a waitress accidentally fell a glass near our table, glass pieces flew to our table. Our waiter and manager have quickly cleaned us from our table and brought us new water and appetizers. Well, about the food. It was just okay. The best was fried zucchini. Everything looked good, but Bland was except my sister's steak. The steak was cooked for perfection, but was very salty. I'd go back to see if Saturday went out a night, but it wouldn't be my first choice."

"i cannot believe the memories of my childhood the taste of the Italian wedding soup brought back to me. Natalie, a most gracious waitress. i asked for something not on the menu and they made it for me. veal saultiboca (spelling is bad) but the dish was fantastic. taramaso was out of this world. "patio not guaranteed. travel to to toronto for a night, try to support ontario. this place looked like he had a large terrace. the attempt to book voicemail was not like leaving a message for two days. used calibrator no answer. (if you had been a sign! by e-mail. get confirmation of the reservation specified terrace not guaranteed, first come, first served. no problem. proven on time for our reservation – 16 available places on the terrace. we said that we were put into the house because the people who had booked before us had already guaranteed places on the terrace. what? the chase must have their messaging just they obviously knew that we did not get a terrace sitting when we booked. are now clear with people when they are not sitting in the open left and had a great meal at another place (on a terrace!"

"Orange bloosom has pistachios and is my favorite. I enjoy eating ice cream that taste like your eating flowers. The pistachios is an added special treat. Reminds me when I was a kid I use to chew on rose petals. I like rosewater. The herbal snow with rosewater is delicious. Turkish coffee no where else in LA this good. Rosewater Saffron with Pistachios hummy. Pomagranete refreshing. My son ordered two scoops: he enjoyed the strawberry and green tea. He said they individually were exceptionally delicious. He would not have combined, he said they don't complement each other however they are his favorite flavors and said by themselves are exceptional. He said the strawberry was like infused with so much flavorful strawberries that he had never had a strawberry ice cream anywhere else like he did at Maschti Malone's."

"Fun atmosphere and great Halloween decorations. A little slow with the drinks but we were getting specialty cocktails cocktails that were really fun. They automatically added a 20% tip without mentioning it, and we were only a party of 3. They should have mentioned that but overall it was a great place!"

"The hostesses need more training. We were greeted with a curt how can i help you followed by a wordless walk to our table. After we were seated, her only other comment to us was to inform us we only had 90 minutes to eat. This was not the best start to our first dinner at this restaurant. Our waiter was nice but clearly burdened by the number of tables he had and not the most charming. The vegetarian moussaka was good but was not hot. Nothing else we ordered stood out."
