"Ate lunch there today, our first meal there, totally disappointed. The chicken in the chicken tikka masala was not tender with insufficient gravy. The white rice served with this entree was not even luke warm We asked for a medium spicy chicken biryani that was served too too spicy even for our Indian taste buds. Felt like stale food was heated and served up, not cooked freshly, we’ll definitely not visit again. Pricey food but where is the quality? I wouldn’t recommend eating here."

"The Indian food at this restaurant was both mediocre and overpriced. We tried the samosa, vegetable korma, chicken tikka, and butter chicken. The samosa was slightly stale, the vegetable korma portion was very small, the chicken tikka was good, but the butter chicken was not good, especially in terms of appearance. While the service was satisfactory, the overall quality of the food did not match the high prices. We felt we could have spent only half the amount at other Indian restaurants nearby. Because of this, we do not plan on returning."

"The big vegan menu was the main reason why I wanted to try this place. When we arrived, I asked about the vegan menu because it wasn't with the regular menu. Once we ordered it was declared that they don’t have to go because “something with the inspector.” I'm not sure what that means. Then several other items on the menu were not available for vegan and non-vegans alike. The service was slow, which was hard to fathom as it was just another table. What we ordered tasted good... but it wasn't what we originally had."

"Had one of my events here. I am giving 3 stars because I was forced to buy 150 plates because the manager said there is no way he will book the venue for 100 guests only. At the end 80 people (including kids) were at this event. Our food tasted much better on the day we tasted the menu. Also didn’t follow my instructions on appetizers but it was overall not bad on the food. The staff that served at my event was good and kind. The stage was decorated well enough I think (still not sure if that worth a $1000). My husband and I talked about leaving a nice tip for the staff at all our events and we were not able to do that at this venue bc we paid so much extra on the plates for guests I didn’t have!! And we paid tips on those extra plates no body ate!! Pictures I uploaded are from the tasting not the event."

"As visitors from out of town, this was only our second experience at an Indian restaurant, and we couldn't be more pleased. We started with two appetizers, both of which were excellent. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was delicious. We also had garlic naan, which complemented our meal perfectly. My son enjoyed the shrimp curry, which was exceptionally good. If we return to Saginaw, we will definitely come back!"

"Indian foods are usually a hit or miss venture, with mostly misses in this country. Again and again you find a place that is all that should be Indian food; that's this place. The food is delicately complex, cooked for perfection. Vegetarian options are phenomenal, like the chicken tandoori. The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is good for most occasions. The next time we're in Richmond, we'll definitely stop here."

"Great interpretation on Indian fusion! Perfect spot for a nice dinner with family or SO, but SUPER fun and tasty spot for brunch! I have been here probably 6-7 times now over 2 years and have sat through regular weekday, weekend, restaurant week and brunch service and can say they are consistent in quality, quantity and ambiance! My favorite dishes are the spinach chaat, Malai kofta and whoever dessert the server recommends that day : if you like to drink, I suggest trying the martini! This was one of the first restaurants I visited when I moved to Philly for medical school. Call me sentimental, but I will always remember the way the manager congratulated me and brought out celebratory champagne flutes for me and my friend. He spent a good 10 minutes asking about where I went to college and what I wanted to do in the future and it really made me feel comfortable in a city I knew very little about. Small gestures like that speak volumes about the ethics that circulate in the training and hiring process! Incredibly saddened to hear that they are moving locations, but if you live near their new spot, please give it a look! Thank you for being one of the first to help Philly feel like home!"

"I had been wanting to try Curry Sultan for a while and finally did! Brave the construction and go eat some great Indian food! You won’t regret it! The food was delicately spiced and just perfectly done! Better than I could have imagined. I can’t wait to try more dishes!! I had the Chicken Vindaloo! I chose medium heat! I may try hot next time! The heat came at the end, and the flavors were subtle and married so well! I also love that most of the dishes are gluten free, meaning I can eat almost everything they serve! I highly recommend Curry Sultan!"

"The dinner that my partner and I had at IndeBlue was the best meal that I have had this year, or perhaps in several years. The tasting menu featured ample portions of delicious and surprising food the brussel sprouts with Indian spicing and burrata cheese was my personal favorite. The double friend cauliflower was crispy and delicious, as were the tandoori shrimp, the lamb vindaloo, and everything, really. And the service was even better. Our server, whose name I didn't catch (he has long hair and is a hiker) was attentive and friendly, and happy to tell us about the history of the restaurant many of the fusion items on the menu reflect the many places in the world that the owner/chef has lived. If this were a city with a Michelin guide, I am confident that this would be a two star restaurant, and the price, including a bottle of fine prosecco, an additional drink, and a deservedly generous tip was under 200 dollars."

"Overall: The food and atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful. I ordered takeout but waited inside until it was ready. The staff were so very friendly and it was very welcoming. The food was exceptional- solid portions, really tasty and well-spice, and lots of extras that enhance the overall experience. It’s off the beaten path in Teele Sq. but would make a nice dinner spot for anyone in Cambridge or Somerville. Definitely a restaurant worth supporting."

"I have ordered take away from Sitar many times but yesterday I had a dining-in experience and was so impressed. Always a fan of their food but yesterday I was floored with their hospitality too. We were too close to the last order cut off so we placed the order via phone while on the move and food was served hot promptly when we reached. They served us very well and showed lot of warmth. Wonderful hosts and it was a perfect memory for our friend who was visiting us from CA. Thank you Team Sitar. Onward and upward to you."

"I was looking for a new Indian place and stumbled upon this place it's a gem! The dining room is very small, it's really just a single medium sized room, but the service is great and the food is outstanding at a very reasonable price. Not sure if I'd continue to dine in, but definitely will get takeout again, the value and quality and quantity make it a grand slam!"

"The food was very good and perfectly prepared. The service not so much. The server seemed extremely distracted and argumentative. I asked for lemon because the rose tea was not made with lemon. I asked why it was not done as much as Rosentee should be done and she said. We can't do it here. Then I showed her the menu where it means what's in the rosary and it said Lemon. She didn't know what to say. I also asked about the desserts. She couldn't even name them all. You need to retrain the servers for customer service and how the items should be prepared in the menu if it is the responsibility of the server to prepare it. The only reason they get 3 stars is because the food.. I could consider the return if the management decides to read this and do something about it."

"Nice staff, all friendly and happy to help. It was so easy to order vegan. I chose the mango teriyaki, which had a lot of noodles and tofu. I needed soy sauce to finish it off. The drinks were excellent and the vegan key lime cheesecake was satisfying. Next time we will sit on the bar side for a little more casual feel. It was easy to ask for accommodations for both the vegan and the pescatarian at the table."
