"I absolutely adore the tortilla soup at this restaurant and always make sure to order it whenever I visit. It is incredibly hearty with delicious chunks of vegetables and a delightful little corn cake that is sweet and flavorful. Unfortunately, I couldn't resist eating the corn before I could take a picture. Their margaritas are served in square-stemmed glasses, adding a unique touch to the experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they now recognize us when we come in. Pauline was especially fantastic today. The restaurant is vibrant and inviting, clean and currently operating at full capacity."

But their menu has such a wide variety of other foods, I've been going back and trying new things every time!!<br/ <br/ A friend recommended I try their seafood cocktail and it was delicious. Can you say FRESH crab??? Not imitation!! Seriously, if you like seafood you have to try their seafood cocktail. Heavenlyyy!!!<br/ <br/ My friend ordered their steak and it's an actual premium great quality cut of meat for almost 1/2 the price you'd get at a fancy steakhouse...<br/ <br/ and I can't forget the free pina colada they give you right when you sit down..<br/ <br/ I didn't eat outside on the patio this time, but it is really worth mentioning. It's such a relaxing place to eat--kinda gives you the feeling of escaping the city. There's this huge tree in the middle that gives it an oasis-type vibe. Another bonus-you can't hear the bustling noise of the outside traffic, etc AT ALL.<br/ <br/ Best Dominican food, hands down."

"I had dinner here on Saturday night with a few friends. I love the restaurant in Manhattan, so I wanted to try the one in Brooklyn. The decor is super cool with its retro ambience. They also have a nice outdoor space. The host on staff that night was extremely friendly and sat us rite away. The table we were sat at was extremely loud with music blasting from above the bar. We asked to be moved, but no tables were available. Understandably as its a busy Saturday night. I actually wore ear plugs I had with me (we were going to a concert afterwards). My friends and I had to literally yell to understand each other. A couple of us started to loose our voice, so we didn't speak. That's a boring dinner. I ordered guacamole and they were out. My friend ordered tacos (I think chicken). They were out. We ended up sharing vegetarian tacos, chips and salsa. The food was really good just as it is at the Manhattan restaurant. I'm giving four stars because of the loud music. I frequent music festivals, etc, but this was piercing loud and non of us could enjoy each others company. We ate fast so we could get out ASAP. I wouldn't come back to this location, but I'll still visit the one in Manhattan."

"I had lunch chouleta with aroz con gandules and maduros. it was really tasteful, a bit salty for me because I watch my sodium supply, but would be good for most. order their food ahead to minimize waiting times. the amount of food supported the price, as two people could be divided and satisfied. I will definitely go back and try another dish."

This inexpensive cantina offers delicious food in a lovingly authentic Mexican atmosphere. On the day we went, it was too cool for us to use the outdoor seats, and that was great because the interior was exceptionally pleasant. "I ate at the Oryz Café for the first time a week ago, and will be going again and again and again. The staff is very nice, the food is great, prices are very reasonable, and they don't skimp on the portions. I had the Denver Omelet with Home Fries and a side of Biscuits Gravy. I was able to eat about half of my meal and took the rest home for another meal. I would give the Oryz Café 10 stars, but it only allows 5. Oryz is at the top of the list for my favorite place to eat. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!"
