"Worst customer service experience.Menu does not have prices we even had to ask how much was it but the waiter just give us estimate of $8-9 but it was more than what we were charged. The waitress took our order then when they serve the food it was all wrong orders we told them we didn?t order those but the server was giving us an attitude and way too RUDE! She was talking on her own language you can tell that she is bad mouthing us like it was our fault other customers could hear her.Afterwards we ask for the bill they charged us items that we did not even order. Which is more than $10. They even added the tip without our consent. We just notice after we left. They?re deceiving customers. Think before you dine!!!"

"Got to Miami late wanted some authentic Latin cuisine. Found this place on Google and it did not disappoint, delicious!I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the Sopa de Res but it was the best!!! Highly recommend it as it is flavorful and tender!We also got 3 pupusas rellenas: cheese, cheese pork cheese, beans pork. Very good, not as you imagine we were stuffed after everything!There was a DJ playing latin dance music and also playing some percussion. Our server was very hospitable and came and checked on us often. Reasonably priced, it was a perfect first stop for us!"

"Pleasant place with friendly service. We regularly get food from them and I don't understand the negative reviews. Frankly, I think some people are simply inappropriate and forget that we are STILL in a pandemic. Be patient, treat others with kindness, forgive simple mistakes, AND TIP WELL. It is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT not only for people in the medical field, but also servers and restaurant staff in general. Give them the respect they deserve. In addition, it is a rustic place, food is consistently fresh and the portions are very generous. My wife and I will continue to be regular here."

"I AM writing this on Friday, October 1, 2021, 4:44PM, ET. The management of Mi Bandera decided to close until the end of the covid19/coronavirus pandemic. I saw this signage about a week ago, but this was the first time I was able to make note of them on Google Maps. Nonetheless, prior to the covid19/coronavirus pandemic, I had dined at Mi Bandera restaurant three times. All three times, the service was impeccable, the prices were reasonable and the food was muy delicioso! I stand for the Miracle that one of the best Hispanic restaurants in Union City, NJ, reopens their doors."

"I have had cubanos in Chicago at several places and have even had one in Havana Cuba but the cubano sandwich at Maria's is the best I have ever had. Ok, it's been a year since this visit and being in Miami again I had to visit Maria's again. The food and coffee are great."

"Disappointed in the food. Nothing was season. The empanadas are a rip off. They were pinky size small. The Arroz con Pollo was the worst arroz con pollo i ever had. The chicken wasnt season at all. The rice didnt have no flavor. I never written a review but this was so bad I had to write one. Hopefully this helps in anyway. OVER PRICED for the quality of food your getting."

"Upon entering the restaurant, there was an unpleasant odor, and stagnant water was present at the entrance. The baliadas were disappointing, as I've had better elsewhere (Popusa Factory serves the best baliadas). However, my enchiladas were delicious—though a bit messy, they were packed with flavor. One downside was that the bathroom was located outside, and it had a heavy, rickety door with no option for drying your hands."

"Step 1: Buy a bathtub. Step 2: Place an order of black beans large enough to fill the bathtub. Step 3: Enjoy! In all seriousness, I try Cuban places for the Cuban sandwich. My wife, being half Cuban, always gets a side of black beans and rice. We regularly make her recipe for black beans and enjoy them, so we always try them to see where hers stack up. This is the first time we've truly been blown away by the flavor and cook of black beans anywhere but home. They are absolutely flavorful and delicious. The Cuban sandwich is also delicious, but we were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the black beans are here. We will definitely be back!"
