"I ordered a week in advance of Thanksgiving and was told to pick up my order on Nov 23 (my birthday) just after 2 pm. My brother and I arrived and were told they needed to make more ?mashed potatoes?. We were asked to come back at 3:15. Once again we were told to come back in yet another hour?they still needed to make ? mashed potatoes?. Trays of food were everywhere and a woman suggested if we could take all the food and just come back for the mashed potatoes, the chef motioned ?NO.? Once again, we left and came back at 4:15. As we walked inside, the same woman we had spoken to twice before looked as though she had never seen us. No greeting, no acknowledgement all she said was ?we are all out of food except for a tray of turkey and some gravy.? I immediately thought she was joking and questioned how this could happen?? How had other people gotten their food but yet we were inconvenienced all afternoon?? She went on about how they had lots of macaroni and cheese (which was NOT even on the menu nor was that what we wanted) Unbelievable. I then realized her seriousness and tears began flowing down my face. I asked again and again why and how was our food given away? Why weren?t we called? (instead of driving back and forth 3 times) to which she replied ?I was too busy?. Not a way to run a business. Other coworkers tried to apologize but it was useless at this point. I had people to cook for and finding out 2.5 hours after my scheduled pick up time they couldn?t provide was simply ridiculous. Instead of celebrating, I spent the night of my birthday food shopping and prepping for a meal that should?ve been delivered as promised. To add to the chaos, while we questioned and argued the chef was sitting down the entire time not saying a single word. No eye contact. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. This restaurant was so disorganized, unprofessional and disappointing, I will never return. So much for breaking a family tradition and trying to support smal"
