"I do not know the story, but this place opened at a location that was previously a different sushi restaurant. That place was pretty great. I could not honestly notice a difference. You could have told me they just changed the name for all I could tell. Great sushi. Pretty standard cost. Very quiet and nice ambiance. The staff is very friendly. I went for Valentine's Day and thought it great for a date. I could see going there with friends, family, or coworkers too."

"Been here before, the food is good . This time after 15 mins I had to ask for a glass of water while I waited for my friend. The waiter was annoyed when we would ask for something else to the point of him saying anything else but not in a nice way. He was more eager to ask me if I wanted another drink then asking how the meal was so far."

"We decided to try Slow fish as it was so close to LACMA, where we had just enjoyed an exhibit. The fish was excellent. The service was very friendly and the sushi arrived very quickly. We happened to arrive during Happy Hour so a few of the rolls were off. Our final bill was surprisingly very affordable considering we had a couple of beers and a lot of really good sushi. I would go back for sure"

"Took our daughter for her 21st birthday only to find out when we arrived they could only serve beer and wine, no hard alcohol. Selected Label due to reviews of great drinks and atmosphere so we thought it would be fun for a 21st birthday. Atmosphere was fun, nice variety of food, especially bison burgers. "Nice appearance to the restaurant. Food was as expected to slightly better than expected. Pricing was typical (though I hate the devices that encourage excessive tipping as a default). Service was a bit spotty and impersonal. So overall- typical dining experience at a decent to nice restaurant, but nothing memorable."

"I really enjoy going to this restaurant and have been multiple times. The atmosphere is wonderful and the server is very attractive. The food is served quickly. However, my only criticism is that each time I visit, it seems like the rice in the sushi is getting drier and drier, making it nearly impossible to eat. Additionally, the ratio of rice to fish and other ingredients has become too high in favor of the rice. I'm not sure if this is intentional to make customers feel full faster, but I wasn't as pleased with my experience this time."

"I own a condo at Kauai Beach villas that I rent out when I travel for over 20 years. This restaurant is a hotel restaurant but it is also a warm and charming experience with good food and good service. The breakfast is always excellent and the breakfast buffet and the people tending the buffet are always warm and friendly with an aloha spirit. Their weekend buffets are very good and their regular food is always well above average. Whether you're staying at the Kauai Beach resort or another location this restaurant is worth bopping into when you're traveling by. It's not inexpensive it's a hotel restaurant but you will a food quality and service experience worthy of a mahalo."

"I love this place. I do not agree with the bad reviews, sounds like a bunch of people upset their old spot closed. Should be angry at the government for forcing small business to permanently shutdown instead of taking it out on this place. We live in Denver and this is about as Cuban as it's going to get. The food is amazing, the sandwiches, the appetizers, everything has great flavor. It's my go to when I'm on this side of town. Seriously delicious food!"
