"The food is a tired menu from 1 1/2yrs ago. The same things were not as good, which makes me think they are using a sous chef to do the prep. I was here about 6 months ago and it was better but again the same food. Service was the biggest letdown. Previous service had a way of making the experience. This waitress was simply overmatched, and did not fit a quality dining establishment. What was worse was her annoying voice tone. Unfortunately she was the only service in the restaurant. along with an excellent busser who was here previously. Truly, he should be the server."

"the team made us welcome from the reservation when we left. wonderful service and guide (2 friends with very different wine taste). nice eating that was absolutely delicious. I have gone for years after willow creek and through all environmental changes they have kept the total values of their service and offers strong. great place for many occasions. dinner recommend something more wise dress, but the lunchtime I found in the position to sit with my hiking bike sitting on the deck."

"We went to Willow Creek during a special menu night for Mardi Gras. Walking in we were greeted by the provisions manager Monica. The welcome was very warm and inviting. We went to the hostess stand where we were taken to our reserved table. The waiter came directly over and explained the menu going over the specials. We ordered the featured themed cocktails and an appetizer. The decor was mountain rustic tied with cute antiques and plants. The view of Evergreen Lake was gorgeous. For dinner we ordered the duck and shrimp gumbo and barbecued shrimp with polenta. The gumbo was a well thought out dish which had been honed by the chef over the last 30 years. It felt like I was back in New Orleans. Desserts were simple, elegant, and delicious."

"First time to this location in lakeway. We came after a visit at the hospital right down the street. The best item at our table was the layered chicken enchiladas, which is the Monday special. We had some other issues but the manager on duty Thomas handled it properly, so hopefully it was just an off day. We look forward to trying this location again. Beautiful view and nice atmosphere."

"First off the atmosphere is amazing. Upscale and very customer oriented. From when we walked In til when we left the service was excellent. The food was extremely fresh and the fact that the entire kitchen is open was very pleasing. You can see how each dish is carefully prepared. We tried just about the whole menu and there was not one thing I can say negative about any of it. The staff was extremely knowledgeable of each dish as they came out as well. Answering any questions we had and knowing all ingredients in each dish. The Management at Bulla were there at every turn to make sure everything was the way it should be. "2016-06-02 2nd dinner: we ate here for the first time. it is what it is, do not really expect all healthy options, but expect them deep fritted and chaotic. it was pretty good, I thought the garnel would have been a bigger number. I hate to cover small garnels. would have liked to try a pasta, but they don't seem as if they were exceptionally exclusive for bubba gump. but our service was pretty good and the food was good for what it was. probably do not go back because there are better garnel connections and that was waiting for an hour for a table. it's a popular place I guess:"

"I love dining at the Beachcomber. The setting is unbeatable and the food is divine. Loved the miso glazed butterfish. BUT. They used to provide parking validation. Not only did we have to pay $15 for parking but we also had to pay $2 per person for the shuttle back to the lot. As a local, I will not be wasting money on parking and shuttles again."

"Our daughter was visiting from Virginia Beach and we wanted to treat her to brunch. She had the apple, cheese, bacon sandwich and enjoyed it. Several of us had the cinnamon French toast. It was so good and way too much to eat. Took it home for later. I had the caprese frittata the tomatos and the balsamic vinegar really enhanced the taste. Service was excellent. Cy (sigh) was so helpful and accommodating. Anything we asked for he made it happen. Cy was training Chris. They made an efficient team. My only concern with our experience was it was WAY too loud. We couldn’t even hear each other talking. It was disappointing to not be able to visit with our daughter."

"I love this place. Because of the reviews of other people about the food and they were on site. Food was delicious and satisfying and plentiful. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the Codfish sandwich. Loved the variation of the beat mines with Bacon, Avocado tomato sprouts and Aloli sauce, its with a Papaya, Mango Coleslaw. We both had the Sweet Potato Fries as a secondary choice that was hot, crispy and salted, which regained the palate. We were so happy and satisfied with the quality of food."
