"I loved the old world charm of this hidden gem.While traveling in Riverhead it is infrequent that I am not on a main road.I searched Restaurants in Riverhead was rewarded for my diligence.We shared an appetizer of the “Stuffies” which turned out to be the best baked clams I have had in years.My dinner meatloaf dinner true comfort bliss) came with soup of the day, a wonderful creme of tomato soup. This soup was so good it reminded me of the saucy taste of good baked ziti.I was going to order one of the specials which was sauerbraten. One of the last portions were served at the table next to us. Next time)It looked great, as did all the plates passing by our table.The restaurant was very clean with an old world feel, great service.I will definitely be going back regularly, I will tell my friend’s. You should give this a try it is not fancy but it a true gem and well worth trying, you will be glad you did."
