"I came to Thundercloud today purely because I found them online and they were near my hotel. Honestly my only criteria was a) somewhere nearby so I didn't have to be away from working for too long and b) have a vegan option. Boy oh boy did I make a good choice. Not only was this the friendliest place I have ever bought lunch from but it has to be up there with the tastiest. The hummus sub with all the veggies was fresh, crisp and delicious with every element delivering on flavour. If you're in the neighbourhood and you want to support a worthwhile business definitely come here and get some food. I would have taken a picture to show how awesome the sub was but honestly I just couldn't stop myself eating every last bite immediately!"

"I hate paying sandwiches, but the NY Italian is just too good. I love his spicy beauty. To add a jalapeno, it really does. If you've never been here, Thundercloud is cheap, fast and good. You also serve Pepsi products, so it is one of the few restaurants where you can get Mountain Dew to your meal."

"Thundercloud subs is a great sub shop. This was my first time to visit this location. It’s funky and they have a lot of fun ACL posters on the wall. There are several parking spots behind the store. I usually stick with their veggie delight. This time I tried nada chicken and it was only ok."

"The service is absolutely atrocious. The red headed kid working the drive thru was so absurdly high, he watched microwave for 30 seconds to heat up one of my sandwiches before starting the next and worked at a snail’s pace. Kid was absolutely blasted and caused an insane backup in the drive thru. It took me 40 mins to get through a drive thru for SANDWICHES…"

"I've been eating at one T Cloud or another since I was in high school (and that was a long time ago mid eighties). No frills casual lunch (or dinner) stop for high quality and fresh ingredients. They will make your sandwich to order and do so quickly. It's just an Austin institution and has been successful by sticking to the same model year after year great sandwiches at a great price. Plus, there is always good music on while you wait or while you eat. It ain't the Four Seasons, so don't go in there with your fancy pants attitude and you'll be fine. I'll feely admit to being a little bit of a homer for Austin businesses but these sandwiches are just better than the national chain competition by a lot. Austin's original and one of a kind!"

"Popped into this location while running errands. You can never go wrong with TC and this location was no different. There were a couple people ahead of me, and behind me but the line went quick. Staff was all smiles, and the meal was delicious. I got the California turkey sandwich with the brocoli cheese soup. 10/10 as always. Great local Austin sandwich spot."
