"First time to the famous Lizard’s Thicket. I had the BBQ pork (basically pulled pork), which was very delicious, with a nice smoked flavor. On the side I had the collard greens, which were very good, and the macaroni and cheese, was was good but not great. I ended my meal with a slice of pecan pie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, which I was very pleased by. The service was great, as well. Our server, when she realized the wrong side had been brought out to me (green beans, which were yummy, as well), made sure I got the right side in the end. She also heated up my pie so it was nice and hot when I ate it and had me put in my dessert order before finishing my entree so the pie would be there when I’d finished. She was also very friendly. Good food, good service, and very reasonable prices—would highly recommend!"
