"This place had some of the best selections of beer, seltzers, teas, etc. But it was their customer service that made them shine! Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. And they are very knowledgeable about ALL of their products too. This is my go-to beer store anytime I am on the Main Line!"

"The dinner was absolutely incredible! The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from such a legendary restaurant, which has been around for 98 years. Despite its age, the place still maintains its pristine appearance thanks to recent renovations, and it is exceptionally clean. I cannot comprehend why anyone would criticize this restaurant; we had an absolutely amazing dining experience."

"The service was ridiculously slow, and the restaurant wasn’t really that busy. For example, we were finished eating and put in our choice for dessert. We sat for 30 minutes waiting and the server never came back to us. We had nothing left to drink and we were totally ignored. I finally had to go to the kitchen to see where the desserts were. This is just one example of how bad the service was."

"I have enjoyed Harvest in the past but last night was an exception. We were seated near the noisy kitchen at a table where the lights were out/ not functioning. I ordered a glass of wine which was not poured at the table and it was a fair bit warmer than room temperature. They did offer me another glass. The ribeye steak was a cooked rare as we asked but very fatty about 1/3 of a 16 oz steak was fat. I like a well marveled steak but this was excessive. All in all not the best experience and I’m not sure I will return."

"Please do not get the french onion soup $18) or the short rib tortellini $38) This restaurant was extremely disappointing for me. I had high hopes for it. It is in a great location near Harvard square and it has a nice outdoor seating option. However, there was much to be desired. The french onion soup looks amazing. However, I should have taken another photo without the melted cheese. There is hardly any actual soup. The color is grey and cloudy. It tastes faint and muddy. There are far too many mushrooms and too much cheese. I have never, ever not finished a dish in a restaurant and this was one I did not finish. It was taken away half finished and nobody asked if there were any issues with it. The french fries were good. However, the two dipping options were some aioli and just regular Heinz ketchup. I wish the other one was something unique as well. The real disappointment was the main dish. The short rib tortellini was a small dish with exactly 7 tortellinis. The tortellini itself was not al dente, as another review mentioned. It was slightly under that and needed 1-2 minutes more. As a result, it had quite a bit of a bite to it, and the taste was not pleasant. The short rib filling was tasteless and texturally unforgiving combined with the underdone pasta. The sauce it was in was rooted in Asian flavors, which did not round out the dish. The carrots and potatoes were an afterthought, adding nothing. They were both underdone and some pieces were legitimately hard. Again, no one asked how my dish was. I am sure Harvest has some great dishes. These two were not those. I came here for an anniversary dinner and was excited. My girlfriend had a great dish, so that is a highlight. However, I am writing my review on my own experience. The service was subpar. I was not asked how my food was and everyone just seemed a little cold and distant. For $150 I expect something pheneomenal. And I was left wishing I went anywhere else."

"we enjoy this restaurant, but eating was a bit disappointing and the noise level was distracting. it wasn't because of the others, it was the situation. I had the Moimosa flight that was intended for more than one person. the personal was good and tried to be attentive. I also had the hugging and wagging, that was disappointing. the children were overboiled and dry and the waffels were almost cold. I wouldn't order them again. overall we had a good time, but that was a mediocre experience. but I must praise the personal, they were great."

"We were visiting from out of town and wanted to try a Michelin rated restaurant. We had heard great reviews for this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu which was the legacy menu. Each course was a mini surprise of flavors, textures and artfully presented. The ambience was quiet, good outlook to chicago’s Downtown with wall to ceiling windows. We were seated by the window. Service was impeccable, friendly. Each time a new dish was served, the ingredients and composition were explained. We did not do any wine pairings but all the other tables did. Our favorite dishes had sweet components (appetizer rhubarb snacks, and the desserts). We learned that Sixteen was closing down at the end of the month and being reconfigured to a new concept which I’m sure will still bring in crowds."

"It's a dîner that you can be sure has all the things you need. Small in size but has a lot of style, pretty chill when I went but that's probably not indicative of it on other days. If you're hungry, you can't go wrong with going to a diner"

"I have the sausages and cookies with cheese eggs. She has pancakes, sausages and cheese. Eating was good orange juice was good. If you order cheese eggs, remember to put ketchup on them. You have a huge menu I like. Great place to go too late or during the day. 24 hours open. It is packed on Sundays because of the church inhabitants. But a large space"

"My husband and I were in town for a few days. We stopped here the 1st night we got there, one of the only places open, and we were not disappointed. We came the next 3 mornings for breakfast. Food is fantastic. Portions are huge, we never left hungry. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!!"

"One of the best burger and burger menus in Brooklyn. You haven't had a burger until you've eaten at Grand Canyon Diner in Park Slope. And they serve you steak fries!!!!! That burger???!!!!! It's cooked under a stainless steel cup on that grill so you know it's gonna be good. I took it upon myself to tip the cook after the I took care of the waiter. It's that good!!!!!"

"Worst Service I was the only table in the restaurant and still almost completely ignored. Eating was okay, not badly great. Service was by far the worst part of the restaurant, perhaps the only table for Brunch was the clear indicator that the experience would be rather bad."

"VEGETARIANS USE EXTREME CAUTION!! THEY MAY SERVE YOU BEEF INSTEAD OF A VEGGY PATTY. So after living in DC for a couple of years I was excited for my first visit to founding farmers. vegetarians at the table including myself were all excited to try the Impossible (highly touted vegetarian patty that is supposed to be as close as the real thing) Burger. So once my “vegetarian” burger was brought out I was excited to chow down! After the first bite I thought it tasted very much like real beef (which I hadn’t had in almost years) so I figured impossible burger delivered as advertised. I then quickly had a couple more bites because I was starving but then had to stop myself because I felt something was very wrong with this “veggy” burger. After close inspection I noticed my patty was an actual BEEF patty. I compared it to the other Impossible burgers at the table and the difference and smell was very clear. Had a non vegetarian taste it, confirmed it was beef. Told the waitress the situation and the plate was taken back. A manager came to the table and apologized a few minutes later. Shortly after that an actual Impossible burger was brought out and manager said the chef was horrified about the mix up, I did not eat replacement and all other friends at table stopped eating the rest of their food. Although I was not physically ill I did feel an uneasiness in my stomach since I had not consumed beef in YEARS. I was horrified that this happened to me but the fact that it could have happened to someone with a severe allergy is even more horrifying. My “meal” that I obviously didn’t finish was comped and I was offered a gift card (which I refused-will never eat here again) for the “mix up”. A place with the reputation of founding farmers, to only take the steps they took to rectify their complete and utter lack of awareness are shameful. I will NEVER EVER step foot at any of their locations. If they cannot figure out a fool proof plan in order for this to NEVER happen to anyone else they should stop serving vegetarian burgers all together. To all friends and family that visit our beautiful city I will make sure they stay clear of this place."
