"Freshly made boba teas in Jax, one of the first main shops in the area. If you love teas, I recommend their honey oolong milk tea with boba herbal jelly but you can’t go wrong with the classic earl gray tea either which has a similar taste to Thai tea, as they didn’t have the latter when they first debuted in Jax about 12-15 yrs ago. But I make the drive for their cakes, so underrated! So glad she’s now back at offering full cakes for order. The best, not overtly sweet where you get a cavity at first bite. They’re more “asian” styled as their desserts are subtly sweet relative to american baked desserts. I highly recommend their Black Forest cake (BFC) although I’ve tried the others before, the BFC is my fave. It’s a soft chocolate cake sandwiching a blueberry cherry strawberry filling. Topped with a whipped frosting accented with shaved chocolates, it’s a must have!"
