The rice was either undercooked or reheated, with a tough texture. However, the service is always excellent, consistently at 100%. I usually order the Mofongo con carne frita, pernil meal, and two pasteles, which are usually delicious. The pernil is usually the highlight of La Lechonera, and the white rice is always a staple with their dinners. Lately, something seems to be off with the food quality."
