"Great ocean view on a beautiful sunny day, sat outside soaking up the sun and watching the whale spouts, worth the min drive from Carmel. Food was average for a local oceanfront restaurant had Crab Salad Sliders, prime rib sandwich. Waiter couldn't get the kids plain burger right, kept coming out with other stuff on it which the kid won't it after it's tainted a pickle is touching it, I can't eat it!. There was a sign in the lobby saying they weren't serving cocktails until after which seemed odd for a place that does drinks with a view much better than their food"

"The service here was top notch. We had 3 different employees to check for us and to assist us in our order during our dinner. We wanted to try something else and were very happy with the Chicken Parmiagian Pizza. It was amazing! It tasted just like Chicken Parmigian and the crust was perfectly baked. "The host took us to a dirty table, she got a towel n sweep the crumbs from the table to the table placemat n put back on the table...so we left that table n went to sit on the bench table outside where it was much cleaner. It's Christmas but wasn't even busy. Service is very slow, they forget to bring us hot sauce when we asked for it. Food was delicious. View was beautiful."

"Couldn't believe I've never checked one of our favorites before....we were here many times and we were never disappointed. Our last visit we had the crab filled mushrooms together with some Calamari with a mango sauce (Daily Special). I guess I misunderstood because it was a special one and thought it was spicy, but unfortunately it wasn't. It was perfectly cooked and still delicious. The calf Marsala was excellent as well as the Chilean sea bass (Daily special). This sea bass had a roasted garlic sauce with mushrooms, artichoke and other vegetables, which this dish raised unknown at height. This sauce I learned is served with other dishes and was not exclusive to the dish I ordered to know well. I have to add another dish that I had the last time that we were here, the lamb hacks that I had the best I ever had!!! Okay, now you know, this place rocks!"

"The quality of food in this facility should earn it 5 stars each time. From the table bread, the appetizer Italian sausage and kale soup and the amazing Cajun Gumbo, which was a special feature. The food was absolutely notch. The negative, however, it took 15-20 minutes after I sat to be bigger and taking drinks order. It was also a good 10 minutes waiting to get my check. Besides waiting times, my server was friendly, attentive and informative. She was also on top of the refills. The other negative was the price, quite expensive for the type of establishment. Would definitely come back for dinner!"

"After I tried phoenicia for a while, my husband daughter took me to dinner on Mother's Day. while eating was tasty, it was not all different than many other restaurants in the near east, with which we have settled in the past. the only thing that really stood out were the prices. Maybe it is location in birmingham allowed to calculate phoenicia twice as much as the average restaurant for the same quality of the food. our bill for three people (without drinks) was $185. if we're going to have a nice dinner, I want it to feel like we have something special. While the restaurant is beautiful, it is quite small and full. we sat very close to a big party on one side and one table of four loud children on another. I am not sure why a nice restaurant allowed four children (three of them were very young) sitting on a table without adult care, but it has influenced our experience definitiw. a very positive thing about our experience was the hummus hashwi. this dish was new to us and stood out from the otherwise tasty but ordinary dinner."

"I had wanted to come here for awhile, and after trying- I will never be back. We were treated quite bad by the waiter WILLy, the Guy (gentlemen) started off all friendly but when my friends were talking about something he would butt into the conversations, he’s so reckless and when we finished eating we had to leave tips and yes we left him a good amount of money and the gentleman started yelling around the place saying that we had to leave him more and I know that’s very optional compared to how they treat us, and I think it’s disrespectful that he starts yelling at us in front of people, like you can ask me in private, I told him that I want to give him more money and he didn't want to receive any more so I didn't understand what’s the need to yell and say nonsense, food was great but we have a hard time when we left, that was so humiliating and rude of him"

"Went to an event there this weekend. Disappointed that the chicken was so thick every person complained and couldn't eat it. The pasta was great, salad and bread were great. The bathroom had plumbing issues and one of the stalls were closed which made it difficult for the guests. I felt that the manager was rude spent awhile waiting for them to open the door; were told 10 o'clock so we arrived at 9:45 and they didn't arrive till almost 10:25 am. No apologies . I felt it was all about the and not the success of the event We were not treated like paying customers we were treated like we were bothering them. The wait staff were very helpful and very kind. I just wanted people to know if you're planning to have an event there make sure the plumbing is working and management is not rude"

"I came here for a holiday party. We were seated in a private room upstairs, so I didn't get the true feel for the restaurant's service and atmosphere. From what I saw it seemed very lovely. Waiters were on the young side, but very respectful and well-trained. The food was very nice but I was hoping my taste buds were going be transported to Italy. All in all, it was a good time though."
