"I've lived about two blocks away from Goodies for a couple years and apologize to myself and them that I've never tried it before today. I went for the first time and was blown away! The employees I talked to were AMAZING. They made doubly sure my order was right, gave me their recommendations, and were so welcoming, courteous, and nice. On top of that, the restaurant interior looked great, I loved the music, and it smelled delicious. I told my wife that even if the food was bad, I would consider coming back. Of course the food was NOT bad--it was delicious! I got a pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich with their sauce, a total of four sides, and two pieces of bread--all for a surprisingly reasonable price. All of it was delicious, especially the brisket, okra, and collard greens. If you're in Mt. Healthy and haven't tried Goodies, don't wait like I did--check it out! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and intend to be back SOON!"
