"I really have no words to describe this place but I’ll try…starting with the fact that they can make almost anything gluten free which is awesome in my book. Pro tip: their portions are large so if you want dessert (which you will), plan ahead and portion half your meal to go. I ordered the chow down fries as a side for my Cajun Burger. The heat could be kicked up a notch I will say for a Cajun burger but it was delicious and juicy anyway. For the temperature, I would order less than you normally like…I ordered medium and it came to mid well. Again, still juicy though. My family ordered the Fried Pimento Ball app…10 stars! So crispy and they make the pimento cheese in house super unexpected for a diner but very happy. My husband ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese casserole and he loved it. Super cheesy and crispy bacon on top. For dessert, I ordered the Fried Oreos (not GF) and they were delish! So pillowy with loads of hot fudge, whipped cream and crushed Oreos on top. My mom ordered the Fried Honey bun…we were not ready lol it was HUGE! Super crunchy and delish also. The service was excellent, very accommodating and the atmosphere is very 50s diner, minus the attire. I would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again…tomorrow! Haha"

"Bourbon Street is a great go to place. Food was really good, service was wonderful and staff is quite friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is the dessert I'm a dessert person and I was disappointed and so were my friends. Other than that I rate the place as great and a real go to place!"

"Ordered through Doordash and received a call that the order was already taken by someone but it wasn't my dasher; the restaurant refused to make me new food because someone claiming to be my order took it already. Luckily, I got my money back but I really wanted to try their food since I was recommended but I guess I'm not going to cause they seem like rude and unprofessional people. I don't want food from people like that! ??"

The owner of the restaurant has personally called and apologized, offered to repay the wrong part. I couldn't edit my GrubHub review so I'll leave a positive one here. The food was good and we'll give them another try next time. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is a rare and welcome event in these days. It shows that they really care about their business and their customers."

"Ordered food here so gross chicken smelled and tasted disgusting. Salads smelled so bad like an “off” odor. It was so gross we ended up throwing the order out and getting other good food. "This is a great restaurant! The ambience is beautiful and the service is excellent! We had dinner at the first night to try them for a possible future wedding party. started with cheese fritters that are balls of cheesy goodness! I had the Petite filet and shrimp and my fiancées had the barbeque shrimps and grits. My fillet was perfectly cooked medium and so delicate and tasteful! The shrimps were butterflied with a super light tempura like batter.can They say YUMM! The sides of carrots, green beans and mushrooms were so brilliant! Dinner was served with the creamiest cheeses I've ever eaten, along with a yeast roll, cornbread and a salad before dinner. Ken's meal was just as delicious with the same sides and grilled shrimps served with the creamy corns! You must try the Raspberry Tea!! We had the Pecan tulip that is wonderful and HUGE! It could have been divided between two people and Ken had the buttermilk walnut cake! Wonderful! We loved it so much that we went to eat there the next day! Baked Crispy Chicken south grilled Mozzarella and covered with a piece of buttermilk Walnut Pie and chocolate midnight cake! Everything was so wonderful! Great service again! We can't say enough good things here! This is our new favorite place in Ocala and we will have our wedding party here!!"

"Servers and cooks seem to be the problem. Raw chicken tenders, rotten lettuce, 5 people at the table, all ordered at the same time, and 1 dinner came out about 10 min after the rest. Missing sides, refused to give rolls and butter with the meals that are listed on the menu and refused to refill a coffee. The owner did take a good chunk of money off of the bill in the end. Observation: The servers seem to cater to the regulars and ignore those they don't know. This is not how to have a thriving business. You will never be able to gain new regulars like this. "I sat here Thursday night with my Burger and Guinness. The Spanish/South American bartender was absolutely fantastic! Great energy and personality. I wish I had gotten his name. The Irish bartender that took my payment couldn 't have wanted me gone sooner. He treated the low-life drunk blaring music from his phone beside me with more respect. Obviously no attention to how much is too much for an individual if he was served in his state anyways. Imagine leaving 1 star after getting great service. It was the guy at the end that left the lasting impression. Not great clientele anyway which is nothing on the place itself....just so happened there was a man in a red basketball jersey smoking weed and talking loudly on the phone to his friends about his wife....his ex-wife...and how he was going to mess someone up tomorrow . The smell and noise of him was really off putting. I see soccer signs all around the bar which is unfortunate because I love the premier league and would have watched a few games here but I was only over to this place because the lowery was closed. Safe to say when the lowery is closed again, I 'll be going home."

"Walked in the first set of doors and girl in a chair asked how many and we said 2 and then she asked indoor or outdoor? And we said indoor she said okay you can just head in assuming we could sit anywhere. So we did. And we sat down and a server came overand said what are you guys doing and that this table is closed. Like how we supposed to know. that there not a seat your selvesand never have been and just walked away. So went upfront got a table and sat. Didn?t have any brisket for a sandwich. Forgot toring in our appetizer but they toke it off for us. The Mac and cheese had some cold spots could tell was microwaved. The quesolooked different with some oil or something floating around. And didn?t have BBQ for my pulled pork for about 10 minutes, therewasn?t any more bbq carts. Get more carts. I?m not to harsh usually on sit down places because I work in one as well. But thiswas the worst experience I had in a long time. Won?t be come back ever sadly."

"We are here on 4/29/17 It was a last minute decision and the place was packed you realized that my best friend was married in a few hours and they wanted to be apart to make their day! We then realized that they had peanuts all over the place... no big thing normally, but their daughter has a SEVERE ground allergy Most places roll their eyes when she raises worries and questions, but the staff here went beyond and beyond to make sure that my God daughter food would not be contaminated ...Even went so far and had the chefs change their gloves when they were dealing with their order.
