"This is our third visit in the last few months. I haven’t reviewed in the past, because we didn’t book through open table. This time, we did, hoping we would be sat quicker and they would be somewhat ready for us, we had my 95-year-old mother with us. Made reservations for 5:00pm outside, the restaurant was empty, and we were told four times by the hostesses they would get the table cleaned off and it would be a few minutes. Twelve minutes later standing there with my mom, we were ready to be sat outside. There were about 10 tables outside and only two others were already sat, and the others were dirty. It’s not like it was a surprise we were going to be there at 5:00pm, and since it was empty, forethought would be to clean a table and get it ready. That was only the beginning, our server was there pretty quickly and said he would bring water and bread and then take our drink order. About 15 minutes later a manager came out and asked if we had been helped, we placed a drink order with her and appetizer. The wine arrived pretty promptly and then our water and bread finally appeared. A little later the caprese appetizer arrived. It looked really good other then the sticker was still on the tomato and sliced, when the manager came out and asked how things were, showed her and it was removed from our bill. Now the entrees, we all ordered the same thing, three salmon frescas, we have had them before so asked for the salmon to be well done. In the past, it’s been pretty raw, so this typically works to get it at least from being cold in the middle. Waiter didn’t write anything down and all three salmons were raw. My husband and mom ate theirs; I couldn’t get myself to eat the salmon tartare. Asked for it to be cooked a little more, it came out rather burnt but, I was hungry. We used to really like Brio and was on our regular rotation of about once a week before CoVid, something happened. We will come back in few months and if better will review then."
