"This is definitely a place that is overrated. My husband and I were excited to check it out, in hindsight I regret booking here for such a special occasion because my husband and I were very dissatisfied with the food and the service. We were celebrating his 40th birthday, don't expect to receive anything special. For starters the seat we were given was right in the middle of all of the chaos i.e. all the other tables around us. We were so close if someone bent over they would hit us, the table was extremely small, maybe 3 feet long. The food is absolutely OVERPRICED for the taste!!! My husband and I have dined at some of the finest in Dallas and had high hopes just to be completely let down. I've never been to restaurant where I was charged 9.00 for bottled water, 12.00 EACH for truffle butter and that was suggested as if that was complimentary, NOPE you pay for it. My husband had the lamb rack, which was unseasonsoned the lamb at Kitchen and Kocktails is 10 times better. I had the steak and requested medium well and it was medium rare. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts that weren't crispy and I've had better at Tupelo Honey and Town Hearth. For the additional side we had the tator tots, bleh, the inside of it tasted like instant mashed potatoes! When I tell you for the taste and quality to be this and the bill was $256.00. Let me encourage you, stick with Nick and Sam's or Dakotas. Not to mention the service, the quality of service that WE received was like the level of Chuck e. Cheese. We were only checked on to order our food and when it was time to get our ticket. The energy was just OK, just not top notch and doesn't match the dollar. It is VERY loud in this restaurant, my husband and I were at little 3 foot table and had to scream in order for us to hear one another. Take your risk and visit at least once, but it won't be a go to for us."
