"When we booked a table for Thanksgiving dinner through OpenTable, we were given the options of standard seating or a buffet. We chose the standard seating. However, upon arriving at the restaurant and being seated, we were informed that only the buffet was available that night and there was no à la carte menu. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have made a reservation. Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but by that time the food on the buffet was cold and stale. Having to constantly get up and serve ourselves was not how we envisioned our Thanksgiving dinner. Additionally, the options on the buffet were limited, possibly because the restaurant was closing at 9:30pm. The $125 per person charge for this experience was certainly not worth it. Our server was friendly and attentive, but overall our family Thanksgiving dinner was not what we had expected, especially with the high bill. This disappointment could have been avoided if the restaurant had clearly communicated that only the buffet was available on Thanksgiving night and standard seating was not an option through OpenTable."
