"When we finally placed our food order, he explained everything very well and suggested pita bread to go with the eggplants we had already ordered. We agreed, and then he left. The dishes started coming out one by one: first the eggplants, then the octopus, and something else. However, the pita bread arrived last, just as we were nearly finished with the spread, which I found amusing.
After we finished our main courses, the server checked on us, and I mentioned that we were still missing some items from our order. We received the cauliflower dish after finishing our mains, but the shrimp we ordered never came at all. We spent two hours there, and I was trying to get the server's attention for a while. He apologized for the missing dishes and offered us a round of drinks, which we declined. I saw him discussing the situation with the manager, but the manager never came to our table.
We ultimately paid and left, feeling disappointed. The food was delicious, and the server was friendly and knowledgeable, but he was clearly overworked and unable to provide the best service. The pacing of the meal was strange, with missing items and long waits. I work in a restaurant myself, and when such situations occur in my workplace, the manager usually comes to apologize, offers something to make up for the mistake, or removes items from the bill to ensure guests leave satisfied. But here, management failed to respond appropriately, leaving the poor server to handle everything on his own. I'm not sure what the Michelin inspectors saw in this place, but the service needs significant improvement."
