"Our server Sara/Sarah was very helpful and polite. I asked what Lyla's is known for and she told me about their breakfast, sandwiches and Mediterranean dishes. I tried the Appetizer Combo...which is hummus, baba ganoosh (smokey and delicious), tabouli (wow), falafel (very crunchy outer coating) and pita bread (it did not come with a pickle...if you see one in my picture). I also ordered the Combination Platter...which had beef kafta,. shish kebob, shish tawook, lamb, rice and grilled vegetables. The food was very tasty...but I would suggest bringing someone to share the food with... because it was a lot for one person."

"To start, ordering our food was frustrating, I had to repeat at least 3x for each item we ordered. They didn’t give us our total, we paid with visa and got charged to use a visa debit. We ordered 3 items, medium pizza with one topping, a wrap and cheese fries and the total was 50$. Seems a bit too high for the items we ordered. When we called they explained all the little charges, delivery charge was $4 and visa debit was for 3$. Absolutely insane. Do not eat here. You’ll be ripped off. Food was okay, but not for the price. "The best crazy salad of your whole life. I have lived all over the world and on 4 continents there is still a salad. You'll also want to put extra avocado okay, no problem just pay a dollar or 2 more. The slices of pizza are good. The tacos are also great. Knock on wood, this is about the only place near Dover, I don't check my bag when I go because they never mess my order. No missing utensils or sauces, no missing items. Seriously, my favorite place everywhere. Because what it's worth, I never got sick here after dinner. The boys are always polite. Please never leave Dover or take me with you! "Best pizza in Newport News!!! We had a variety of pizzas and they were all excellent. Stuffed crust meat lovers, buffalo chicken, plain pepperoni and the Supreme. The crust was perfectly done, crispy and fresh tasting. Our waitress was excellent. Do yourself a favor and try this place!"

"It has been a while since I have been to Baldwin but was in the area scouting for Pizza Hunters App. Customer service was amazing. Positive experience at the counter. Super friendly and helpful. Had the Margarita slice which was very good. This is a big slice with a big crust. Solid on all categories. Not sure the big crust would grade the highest in tournament competition, but it was above average for sure. I will be going back soon to sample other slices for sure."

"Your pizza has the best taste when you choose between Taranovas, Valley Pizza or Diana's. Put your hands down. I bless her pizza since I moved from Bensalem. I am disappointed that they have changed the kind of mozzarella sticks they have. The ones they used to have were smaller and seasoned super good. These new ones remind me of Chuckie cheese. Please get the old one back! I love your restaurant"

"We gave Pallas a try since it is under new management. Unfortunately nothing much has changed. There was only one server this is obviously not the job for her. I ordered the fish fry. She didn't ask me if I wanted soup or salad so I asked her about it. She said she didn't think it came with it so I showed her the menu which stated that all specials came with soup or salad except wraps. She said, oh well, I'll give it to you (as if she was doing me a favor). The food took a long time to come. We flagged her down asked if we could have bread. She didn't remember until she brought our entrees. We asked for ketchup hot sauce. She didn't remember that either so we had to ask the bus boy. I had ordered onion straws got a hard, undercooked baked potato. When I told her that I didn't order a baked potato, she just kind of looked at me finally said that she'd get me the onion straws. They finally came when we were done eating. We asked for boxes saw her carrying the boxes, but instead of handing them to us, she laid them on the table next to us took the order of the couple sitting behind us. They still add a surcharge if you use a credit card so we opted to pay in cash. The cashier said it wasn't a big deal. Well, since our bill was around $48 for 3 meals (no drinks), we weren't going to pay anything extra. As slow as the server was, she wasn't slow going to our empty table to collect her $10 tip. I told my husband that was too much since the service was so poor. On the way out, my husband said, well we gave it another try, but we will not be back. It's a shame because we used to come here regularly when the nice older woman host told us to sit back, relax have a good dinner. Those were the good old days."

"We’ve been ordering from Frank’s for years and it has always been great. I usually order online and the food is always delivered hot before the estimated delivery time. Not too long ago I ordered a large plain and after it was handed to me, my dog jumped on me and the whole pie fell cheese down on my doorstep. Feeling defeated I tossed the whole thing. The delivery driver saw and went out of his way to call the shop and replace my pie. He didn’t have to do that, but I was thankful he did. Tried to give him another tip and he refused. Thank you Frank’s and the driver for your great service and customer care !"

"This is our favorite place to go to breakfast. The staff is always nice and the food is great. They have a patio for the nicer days, but I don 't think we have ever sat on it. The restaurant is not big inside, but we have never waited long. Decor is 'hole in the wall ', but the food makes up for any lack of decor. There is no beer list, but never ending coffee is usually what we need anyway! I have liked everything I have gotten here. TBG always has to finish my plate so we order different things. I like to get the egg sandwich on a bagel, but also love the eggs benedict, and the stuffed french toast. TBG likes the eggs benedict and sometimes gets it with cajun steak. We have visited a handful of times after breakfast and their lunch/dinner food is also good. The pastrami and corned beef are homemade and good, and the sandwiches are huge. "I was in this restaurant for big lunch, parties and dinner with friends and everything was always great!!!! From fresh warm bread to dessert and service was great. I also work in a restaurant and sometimes, no matter what you do, you can't make everyone happy. Every time I was in this restaurant, my experiences were great.
