"We grabbed lunch here and the food was SO good! The portions were generous and the service was excellent. We were very pleased with the whole experience. They were out of horseradish sauce and offered a homemade spicy sauce instead and that was very very delicious. We got the pork shank and goulash with potato pancakes and it was melt in your mouth good. The pork shank meat came right off the bones and was so tender. The mashed potato that came with was also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all and can't wait to go back to try other food on the menu!"

"6 of us in reunion. Positives and Negatives: Negatives: E ordered a gin tonic, I ordered a gin martini. Both of us thought our drinks were watered. E I ordered the lunch chicken paprikasch, paprikash was extremely mild, E and I detected little spice. Positives: The food was good, portions generous, persons who ordered other items on the menu were delighted, especially with the Gulyas (Goulash), the Hungarian merlot (even with a screw cap) was good, our server, Michelle, was a delight, the dessert offering was a HUGE success"

"This place was a go-to for house style cooking since I came back here in '97. But for unknown reasons, I never tried the roasted chicken... until today. I had the desire and the time (contains 20 minutes), and was worth every moment of waiting. The chest is always the telltal sign of good roasted chicken. It is often dry and tasteless. Not that chicken. Each bite was delicate, juicy and full of taste. The crust was perfectly crispy without as much as a hint of fatness. I went for the 4-piece meal, so I would have left behind later. Really the best roasted chicken in NKY, if not the world. You have to eat here!"

"We were only in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. We were at first a bit comprehensible, but we received a very warm welcome. Since we had no reservation, we sat in the lounge that was good. The service was fast, the servers were polite and professional. The atmosphere wasn't loud. I would recommend a reservation and enjoy your meal here in the dining area. We will return. We ordered lamb lipops and champagne salmon and they were both great!"

"They often mess up our orders both in person and in deliveries but when they do get it right, it’s amazing. I’ve had somewhat undercooked food there as well as a few foods that didn’t always taste consistent and so you weren’t sure what flavor it’ll be the day you go but overall it’s good."

"Absolutely everything I was hoping for! The sea views and smoked fish were delightful. The cold beer was excellent as well! It was just perfect—pleasant, cheerful, and reasonably priced. The starter I had was well-sized and enjoyable. On my second visit, I couldn't resist the smoked fish platter served with brown bread. It was simply divine!"

I love the maduros here I like that they don't use syrups to make it sweet like most other places do. But it is cash only here so bring some but you won't need a ton which is rare for the area of fancy hipster places this place should be more packed but it seems like they do a ton of delivery business."

"For the first time in Hereford House and was very happy, I chose her brunchbuffet for my Thanksgiving meal with my family. We sat right away. Our server, Khaled, was attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, especially the beautiful desserts. My slice Prime Rib was delicate; the potatoes and the green beans complement it perfectly. Thank you for a great first experience! "The table was uneven and annoying. We waited for 10 minutes at our table before a waitress acknowledged us. We had to ask for utensils after our meal arrived and were not offered a glass with our bottled beer. The upstairs area was loud. There was an overcharge error on our bill, but it was corrected when we brought it up. Despite all of these issues, the food was very good so I would recommend this restaurant, but only after mentioning the negatives."
