"In the past the Fullerton Inn restaurant and Tavern has been a quaint, enjoyable place to eat. Tonight, my family and I had the worst experience in a restaurant I have had in a long time!!!! I want to make sure others are aware- don 't waste your money at this establishment until there are some MAJOR changes. To begin, my mom and I miscommunicated about how many would be in our party. When I went to let the host, Rich know of the error he rolled his eyes, shook his head, pretty much had a reaction I would expect from a teenager. I asked him is this a problem, would you like us to take our business elsewhere? He said I just need you to appreciate how much work went into setting up a table for 13- it 's very labor intensive I said I am sorry we had a miscommunication someone else tried to intervene and make things right and he cut them off- told me it would be fine, we were seated. Almost all the meals we ordered had to be sent back- the chicken tenders were raw in the center- not just pink but raw, the beef Wellington was overly rare. When we left the host Rich was sitting on the couch in the lobby- no goodbye, no how was your meal. Very sad for the town of Chester to have lost a reputable eatery that 's been a staple in the community for so many years."
