"I'm craving a good ol fashion burger so the good reviews brought us in. The decor is cool and our food did not disappoint. Well, the She Crab soup I started with was a bit of an overkill with the sherry. Remember to stir as it tops the serving. Don'tdo whati did and take a spoonful without stirring it. Cough cough.. as the manager passed by he immediately asked how we're doing, I had to give my opinion. He kindly offered another cup without the sherry AND it was taken off the bill. I really didn't expect that. I'll take him up on that next time."

"This is the first place I come to when I visit Indianapolis! I've been coming here since I was a Freshman at Butler University in 2000! The beer cheese crock is so good my buddy dipped his paper napkin in it and ate it after we ran out of bread. I enjoy the lawn mower beer and playing darts in the dart room with friends. Great ambiance, great food, great beer, and great people!!"

"4 of us sat on the porch for dinner. One guest ordered a Manhattan. Terrible. Another guest, returned it went to the bar to help the uninformed bartender mix the drink. Still mediocre. If your a bartender have no idea how to mix a cocktail, how 'bout you look at a recipe book?! Dinner was mediocre, at best. Hamburger was completely over cooked. Other dinner items completely unforgettable. Table service on the patio was poor. Very slow service. It 'll be a very long time before we go here agai … – show"

"My wife and i were on a road trip without dogs and wanted a pet friendly environment for lunch. It was about a 10 min off course from I-10. We read 'bad ' reviews that made us chuckle. We order boudin balls, Cajun Mac n cheese, and sliders. The boudin balls were good but not as spicy as we would like. The dipping sauce was perfect for them though. The sliders were not pretty but the meat was perfect and seasoned well. The Mac n cheese was absolutely 10 out of 10! Good Cajun spice and flavor. Atmosphere was super nice and plenty of room for pups to join. Outdoor seating has plenty of shade for all times of daylight. We will definitely be back on future road trips!"

"Went there late one Friday night to grab something to eat after leaving Barcade (we were hungry and it's directly across the street). It wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. The waitress was very personable and attentive. Didn't want to order too much so we just got an order of nachos with chicken on top. Was good and filling; nothing extra special but still tasty."
