"BEST. BUTTERNUT. SQUASH. SOUP. EVER. I have to say, as a lover of Butternut squash soup. I am hard to impress. It's usually too sweet or too bland. The butternut squash soup at Ellie's blew all of them away!!! Nice squash taste, with a creamy splendor that finished with a little kick of red pepper. Absolutely amazing. For dinner we had the roast chicken. Perfect for sharing and expertly spiced. The whipped potatoes and wilted spinach were also delish. The only downside to the meal was we ordered the fig and baked burrata and fig appetizer. I LOVE burrata and fig. While it tasted good it was kind of cold still. Bummer. Otherwise a fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a great romantic dinner with great food."

"amazing eating and cheap. my man had a fabulous boar and I had a wonderful filet. everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. the desserts were wonderful, also the chocolate cake with a hauch of pfeffer was an interesting idea. the mac and cheese side, the fried sprouts and mushrooms were all wonderful. the Steak-Fries were keile and beyond jummy! highly recommended this restaurant! we're coming back!"
