"We had made reservations for Thanksgiving week for a party of 11 on September 9th. Unfortunately, the restaurant cancelled our reservation the night before due to a private event. It would have been helpful to receive earlier notice to make alternative plans. We will be sharing our disappointing experience with others visiting San Antonio and suggest trying other restaurants in the Pearl area instead of The Granary. It would have been more considerate for the restaurant to inform all guests and remove themselves from OpenTable once they knew they would be closed for the week. The cancellation text we received was disappointing in its abrupt and generic nature."

"excellent cook on this place! very friendly staff! dining room was closed but they have a cool running gear thru. they would be hard pressed to find a better sushi burrito everywhere! the sauce is stellar! the ramen is packed with fresh organic aggies and teeming with taste. umami. yum!"
