"While we aren’t vegetarian, we were impressed that there actually were vegetarian options available on the tiny menu. The problem, was that the menu is fairly tiny. Honestly, this can very often be a good thing for a restaurant. Better to have a few select items that are exceptional, rather than a plethora or even overwhelming number of options that are mediocre. Well the food was good, I don’t think I’d quite call it exceptional. Portion sizes were decent, food quality was decent, our biggest complaint was that our server was definitely not on top of things. When ordering, we had already put in our food order and asked for drink recommendations to go with the food we had chosen. Our waiter rattled off several food options that seemed to be more from rote than from the heart. When I clarified again that I meant for drinks, He made some offhanded suggestions with no logic or reason behind his recommendations. The selection he offered wasn’t anything I would have chosen to go with the food I ordered. No biggie. However, the drink I did order wasn’t even available and he didn’t even tell me until he brought my partner’s drink. That’s OK, it happens. Apparently a lot, since I heard two other tables have the same issue. I realize that these are all little nitpicky things, but it was noticeable. We never did get the appetizer we ordered. It’s a very end of the meal when I brought it up to our server, he did offer to take it off of our bill or pack it up to go. I mean, yeah? Shrubs I realize that these are all little nitpicky things, but it was noticeable. We never did get the appetizer we ordered. It’s a very end of the meal when I brought it up to our server, he did offer to take it off of our bill or pack it up to go. I mean, yeah? All in all I would say not an awful experience, but I’m not entirely sure we will have any occasion to go back."
