"My wife and I drove from Orlando to New Smyrna Beach for an art show last night and decided to end our evening at Grille at Riverview. We have stayed at the hotel before and had a wonderful experience. After requesting a table by the window, we were seated promptly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, followed by our meals, but after receiving our drinks and water, we didn't see our waitress again. An hour later, we decided to leave. The table behind us was trying to get someone's attention for their check, and the table in front of us had a complaint about their service. Normally, we are generous tippers, typically leaving 20%. We have previously stayed at the Inlet for a couple of weeks and dined here without any issues. In fact, I've never stiffed a restaurant in my life. Instead, we headed over to Norwoods, a long-standing establishment in New Smyrna Beach, where we enjoyed excellent service and a delicious meal. We were hoping to see Aunt Bee, one of the original waitresses, but she wasn't working that night. By the way, we still left a $30 tip on a $96 bill."
