"We had made reservations for our first time visit. When we arrived we were initially told the restaurant was closed due to Mother's day set-up. Then we were told they were honoring the two reservations that had been made for the evening. The food and service were good, but it was weird being one of the two tables being served. I do appreciate the reservation being honored. The patio looked very inviting and we plan to go back when the weather is warmer."

"My friends and I had a reservation for brunch. 5 6 of our orders were completely wrong. The Chef substituted items from the menu with a replacement of his her choice without informing us or our waitress. The 'Classic Ham Benedict ' were prepared with bacon instead of ham. The traditional Hollaindais sauce was an orange, ketchupy Remolaide. The 'Hangover Cure ' was served with a seeded hamburger bun instead of a croissant. Shall I go on? The waffles were mushy, the fried food was overcooked and soggy. The **** mary 's were simply tomato juice w a splash of vodka no hot sauce, horseradish, olives nothing! This was a major disappointment most of us barely touched our food. And to the Chef.....To quote Sebastian Maniscalco He 's gonna make you whatever the hell he wants."

"The food is fantastic. We had avocado toast which is very tasty. Bread is a little thick but the dish was still tasty. We also had the Sweet Potato Skillet which was sweet and savory. The duck confit is very well prepared. The dish really should be shared as it is very filling. Service is great. The noise was. A little disconcerting but when the two women , who were young, left the noise level was much more pleasant. Great spot for brunch."

"Service was. 5 stars! Food was 3 stars…. The brunch pot pie says it has gravy and bacon, but our had neither. It also included peppers and onions that was not on the menu. We would not have ordered it if we had known. The flavor was meh! There was also not a lot of eggs or sausage in it. Very disappointed in the food. However, my wife got a Sammy with potatoes, the potatoes were the bomb! We saw several others that got the dirty bird Sammy and we will try it next time!"

"All workers were incredibly nice. Too bad the limited menu and lack of adjustability by the kitchen brings the restaurant down. Portions were small and pricing high. Quality of food was ho-hum--nothing special, but above diner level for sure. Lovely setting and no problem parking."

"Have here mostly for lunch and had a GREAT enjoyable meal, but This past Sunday night was a nightmare. Had early reservation (545 booked on open table) The music was so loud and pounding out heavy metal music which is not my type of music or enjoyable music to have a meal by. I witnessed two separate couples seated then get up and leave (which I wish I had done and assume was the music). My food was good, but at the end, I had a $20.00 coupon from open table which applies to a booking you book. The waiter came back and told me he was going to apply it this time but the manager said they would not accept again. WHY TELL ME!!!! IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE A PART OF OPEN TABLE THEN GET OFF IT!!!!!"

"When in TX come to the Nook for that comfort southern food! I was leaving my cousins house and came across this restaurant that was near by that to my surprise had a variety of gluten free items to chose from. Its located in the same parking lot as the elementary school and is the only restaurant/bar in the parking lot. Upon walking in you'll see the bar and plenty of seating as well as a patio. Since we came in the middle of the week on a late afternoon we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our waitress came over who was really sweet and had that southern Texas charm. I ordered the elote with homemade tortilla chips, gluten free Mac n cheese and my mom got a flatbread. Hands down that mac n cheese was the best I ever had, it was so creamy but not over powering with that bold cheese flavor and it was made with gf penne pasta (I know a little weird.. but it was the only gf noodle choice I had). If you don't have an allergy I'm sure the regular noodles are just as good! So if you want that comfort food that Texas is known for, this is the place to check out if you're in Celina."
