"on a Saturday night they seemed overwhelmed to honor the reservations and keep the table distance. server were confused where to deliver meal times. steak was overgrown. had no short ribs left to order, and filet medaillen special was just fair. they would not replace kartoffels with fingertips. he said it was hidden. no good answer for a high-end steakhouse. the waiter was pretty good, but the narrow distance and the loud space made it difficult to conduct a conversation."

"They used to be good but now????? Horrible food and everything changed. Nacho chicken with no chicken at all the waiter came and checked it and you know what they did they put on the side and gave it to us. We were going to leave but we had a people with us from Australia and we did not like to get embarrassed .We paid a lots of money for the worst food which maybe Taco Bell is little better. Our waiter Ryan was very nice but he saw everything. We used to spend a lots of money there going at least once a week and if we have visitors we used to take them to “hub” all the time. But that was our last visit! One the place that’s out of our list we really feel bad on how it’s going down hill."

"If you are in the OBX you have to try this place. An exquisite cafe with an amazing ambiance and view. The staff is very friendly and professional. Our server was Annie and she was amaizing. "I have dined at this restaurant several times. I was surprised that even with a reservation, we were seated at a booth with a view of the kitchen. Although we could have requested to be moved, we chose not to. The waiter was enthusiastic, but failed to refill our water glasses without being prompted. My husband's lasagna was a large brick placed on a plain plate. It would have been nice to have some salad or something green and crispy to accompany it. I am not a fan of à la carte dining, especially when the price of the main course alone is considered. The dining room was very dark and somewhat noisy. I would prefer not to be seated in that area again in the future."

"We were from out of town and looking for a place with steak and raw oysters. This was on New Year’s Eve so after calling at least 5 places we were able to finally get a reservation at Jacks using the open table app. We weren’t expecting much since it was last minute and everywhere else that had good or decent reviews were booked and we were wondering why this place wasn’t??? Either they just haven’t built up their reputation or poor quality food and/or over priced. We were going to find out. When we got there our coats were checked at the door. They sat us quickly even though we were a few minutes late because of road conditions. Our waitress was Sonya. She was soooo helpful, polite, well spoken,friendly, and great at giving us the details of the items on the menu. Although they gave good descriptions we wanted further details. Sonya was amazing! We loved her! The drink menu was great as well. We had raw oysters and fried calamari as our appetizers. Both were tasty. Now for the main review, the meat! We are from the south and we love beef. Especially steak. It was unanimous among all 4 adults that the steaks were AMAZING!!! 3 of us had the 10oz Ribeye and then one 6oz Filet Mignon. They were seasoned perfectly and the steaks were prepared rare. Presentation was on point! The steaks were very tender and melted in your mouth. We split the sides as the portions there are generous. Loved the brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Then we had the lava cake for dessert. It was truly divine! We could not of been more pleased. We truly found a hidden gem in New Haven. Once word gets out I’m sure it will not be as easy to get a seat."

"there are some vegan options in woodinville, so this is a good option to have. they have several vegan options. they are not marked on the paper menus, but are marked clearly in the online menu, so sure to check. the ambiente is beautiful, the service was good when we went, they have many seats outdoors, and it is dog friendly. we got the avocado salad (which was my favorite thing), classic bruschetta, trufflefrries (no parm), and vegan pizza. the food presentation was beautiful and the food was fresh and of good quality. for us there was something lacking in taste. that's my only complaint. maybe a bit more salt, garlic oil, truffle oil, edgy, etc. would help. but overall it was good and a nice experience so that we would return. updated by previous review on 2021-08-23"

"Good Food, Not Necessarily Worth The Wait. I really like the menu at Blue Cow, there seems to be a little something for everyone. For brunch I order the Santa Fe Scramble which is basically breakfast nachos. You gotta love that! For lunch I have stuck to grilled cheese and fries. Also, they have RC Cola and 7-Up for fountain sodas. Yum! The place is a little cramped, but the environment is fun and the staff is nice. Look out on weekend mornings though, the place is packed! It's hard to get a table, there's no space to wait, and the service isn't quick. The last time I went there it was just too busy and I hopped over to the Morrison Inn for a nice meal."

"My husband and I ordered the sea bass and it was fantastic. The restaurant needs an upgrade/update. Service was OK. "Had $1 oysters in the summer. They were fantastic, very fresh! The new outdoor seating is great and they had an absolutely fantastic orange wine as special at the time. The great thing about this place was that the oyster happy hour was at a decent time (Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, if I remember correctly! . Hopefully they will have the same deal this summer!"

"The Hole-in-the-wall was a great restaurant on the property. Every meal we had there was great, the recommendations made by our server were bang on and she was a delight. "This place is terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. As you can see from other reviews, this restaurant is a complete disaster and not worth visiting. I organized a group of 60 people to eat here twice, but both experiences were awful. The drinks were expensive and weak, but the worst part was the staff. The manager was incredibly rude and made our group, who were quiet and respectful, move to different tables for no apparent reason. The security guards seemed more interested in hanging out with their friends than ensuring the safety of customers. Stay far away from this place. The rooftop terrace is not worth it, there are much better options in the city for a good time. Hopefully, they will improve once the restaurant changes management."

"The service was excellent, we got seated right away, everyone was very friendly, and the waitress was attentive and efficient. The food was fresh and tasty, very high quality. I had the Caesar salad which was crisp and had just the right amount of dressing. For the entree, I had the butternut squash ravioli in a truffle cream sauce which was delightful. It was the best butternut squash ravioli I've had in a long time. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was delicious, it wasn't overly rich, just perfect. The beer flight for $8.00 was reasonably priced and there was a nice selection to choose from. We had a fantastic evening at La Tavola, we'll definitely be back!"

"overall, eating was very good and abundant. good variety and something for everyone. the gnocchi was a bit a bit a bit a bit. the service was ok, but not great. the orders were forgotten and sometimes difficult to get the attention of the waiting staff. but they were polite. we sat in a side-dining area that was decorating and not particularly beautiful. it was a fairly cold evening with an explosion cold air every time the door opened. on the plus side the wein is sold without brandup and there is no cork fee. tab was $360 for 4 with only 3 drinks and no dessert. I would expect a little more for this price. eating is very good, but service and ambiente could use some work."

"Since this was a birthday/Valentines dinner I had higher expectations for a better experience. We have been to Avenues Bistro before, but this time we were slightly disappointed in the overall experience. It seemed as though the restaurant was more concerned with turning tables than offering a positive dining experience. The staff was moving at an extremely fast pace and the food seemed to be coming out of the kitchen quicker than usual not allowing for patrons to enjoy a relaxing dinner. We were seated next to the kitchen entrance which also led to a rushed, hectic dining experience. Especially when you could hear the conversations taking place in the kitchen and repeatedly heard the employees calling out “Corner, Coming In, etc.”. The parting gift of Macaroons was nice but not being acknowledged for a birthday was a little disappointing since we had never experienced this."
