"First off, the atmosphere of this restaurant was so wonderful and relaxing. Our assigned server, Sophie, was so pleasant and had a positive attitude. She made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Sophie also continuously checked on us, and each time, she came with a smile and good conversation. Now, the food was magnificent and cooked and seasoned very well. My guy and I had the fried seafood platter (a piece), and it was so much food for one person that we should have gotten one platter and shared it. The platter included fried catfish, fried shrimp, and fried oysters, which they put back on the menu today after being off the menu for 2 years. I was so so excited. We were very pleased with our dinner. Also, the chicken and anduoille gumbo was very, very good. Along with the boiled red potatoes that's given to guests as a complimentary starter was tasty. I highly recommend Deanie's to those visiting New Orleans and are staying in the French Quarter to check this awesome seafood restaurant out."
