"I was charged $19 for soup and a handful of fries. The soup clearly say $5.50 on the menu for the larger size. I didn’t see a price for an order of fries but figured everything together would be around $12-$13. When I called to ask what happened after my partner came home with the food they told me they charged me about $12 for the soup alone. I questioned why I wasn’t charged what was on the menu and was told that they only serve soup for that price when you eat in the restaurant. This was not specified on the menu whatsoever, nor was it mentioned to me when I called to order. I was begrudgingly told I could return for a $5 refund but I don’t feel like dragging myself out of bed with the stomach bug. I’ve always gone here because it is convenient but after this experience and the multiple times I’ve found hair in my food (at least 3) I will not be returning."

"I've been visiting this area for 30 years and never arrived until last night. I didn't know what I was missing... Gorgeous and honest not much to see from the curb, Dino is very beautifully decorated and has an incredible amount of space inside. At one end you have the serviceable bar with seating, the other end has a large dining area with a banquet facility that they had opened for further seating. The seats are usually tables with some stands, we were brought to a stand. The menu was your usual sports bar farewell my wife had her Buffalo Chicken Sandwich a massive thing that she could barely eat half though she enjoyed it pretty much. I didn't make any complaints about her fish plate. The service was friendly and super patient as we had many questions she had with her. The only Nit was the cleanliness of the table. It seems that on the seat side I was, as there were, no tomatoes and shredded cheese, as there are unprepared foods (ries, chips) and other light garbage at our feet under the table. Otherwise it was a great experience and I am happy to come out again."

"Here is all you need to know about three amigos. Their front counter employee was wearing a shirt that said your dog licks PB off my dick. This is not a lie, 100% true. The fact that their management would allow an employee to wear a shirt like this speaks volumes. How could you ever trust their food, their cleanliness, their service, or anything else if they are so absolutely brain dead, that they would let an employee wear something like this while serving customers, including a high number of kids from the dance school next store. Absolute clowns."

"Server was super cheerful and nice, but seemed overwhelmed and forgetful (waited for water for 15 minutes, and appetizer and dinner order came at same time). The fish and chips entree was unedible. When we mentioned it to the server, she apologized and shrugged. She did not offer to swap out the order for something else or remove the entree from our bill. When we mentioned it to the host/manager, she also apologized and shrugged. R J Grunt’s salad bar has been removed and replaced by a “digital” menu option, basically filling out a card with your salad selection. Not so digital, and not to our liking. We’ve been LEYE customers for 40+ years, and R J Grunt’s has been one of our favorite, albeit throwback, places to dine. The service and food was sadly not up to past/expected LEYE levels of quality. Based on our recent experience, we’ll be scratching R J Grunt’s off our list."

"we have chosen rj grunts for dinner because we had tickets for the lincoln park zoolights and I knew it was close to the beginning. I have come to rj since 1972 and always loved the 70's joy of life. it is great that it is still at the same place and small. I really miss the salatable, I remember that it was the first restaurants that had an salatable in the 70s. we brought my two youngs this time and they loved the inner of the restaurant and the music playing. eating is good as always and we enjoyed the time we spent there last night. we're coming back."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The menu offers burgers, comfort food, shakes, and even a hangover brunch section that was really enjoyable. I found a hidden gem here. I definitely need to come back for another visit. The seating is limited and a bit dimly lit, but it adds to the cozy and authentic atmosphere. I left with a peanut butter shake that was the highlight of my day."

"Cheeseburger flat was okay but, not what my husband expected. It needs more tomatoes, more evenly spread ingredients, sliced hamburger pickles, and shredded lettuce. A little less thousand island dressing, it was the main taste. We have been ordering from Legends for over a year and will continue to do so."

"I took my son here on a Wednesday and they had live music outside. The staff came right over to us and got us started with drinks while we reviewed the menu. We order s few different things and everything was great. While we ate the staff came over to us plenty of times to make sure we did not need anything else. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and service. It is not in my neighborhood, but I will gladly make the drive to go there again. Plus, its next to an ice cream stand!!! For some reason my pictures will not post, but we got fried pickles, mozz sticks (best I ever had), cheese fries, panzerotti, and a cobb salad which was huge!!!"
