"We had a nice server, she was a bit inexperienced, but that didn't bother us because we could say that she worked hard and tried to do the right thing for all the tables she visited. I realized she wasn't properly trained. Our server came to our table with the wrong order. When I pointed out that the court was not what I ordered, she insisted that I was wrong. A few minutes later she came back and apologized for the mixture. No big deal, it happens. Another server showed up with our dinner, and again it was the wrong order. The owner came by and asked what was going on. We told him and he said our server was new and then offered us free dessert. I thought that was a nice gesture, but not necessary. He went on and on how great the desserts were and how happy we will be after trying these amazing creations. He also told us how important we were for him. What really worries me was the owner never returned to our table to see if we were satisfied. By the way, my pasta meal was boiled and tasteless, I guess the cook was also new. We paid the bill and left the standard 20% tip. Before I left, I came into my pocket to call a business card, I tracked the owner, gave him my card and stormed out. He came to the parking lot and told us we went too fast. Really Anthony? We sat on our table for 20 minutes after our plates were cleared and my husband even ordered a cup of coffee. Much time to ask us how our meal was, and a lot of time to send over Dessert. It wasn't the dessert that was really important, it was the empty gesture and the wrong concern that told us how important we were for him and his restaurant. We went to the Ocean Twp Ninos every Sunday night until it went well. The servers there weren't well trained, but we did it because they were nice people and the food was good at this place. If he wasn't such a madman, I would have shot this place again."

"Update 3rd visitThe first two visits were great. Today not so great.Consistency This is what is so important to restaurants.Today 's $8.99 lunch special was overbaked, hard, dry, not piping hot, and had no gooey cheese. When my pizza slice arrived, Allan said, It 's burnt. It wasn 't burnt, but it was darkened. I ate some of it and left the majority of it to be tossed.Too bad. A 50/50 chance of a great lunch vs. a disappointing lunch is not for me; I never gamble. When it was good, it was very good. But when it was bad, it was bad. First time at New York Pizza Pints, and we were absolutely impressed!I was told the pizzas were big, but I wasn 't prepared to see a 2 FOOT WIDE pizza! Angel is the store manager, super friendly, providing great customer service. One thing I always do is check out the ladies ' room; AND I send Allan to check the men 's room. Rarely does Allan report a clean restroom, so I was very happy to hear the men 's restroom was spotless! And, the ladies ' restroom was immaculate! Two big screen TV 's are above the bar where they feature the Four Bullets Richardson Brewery. Walking in, one immediately notices the multi level rows of Growlers available for purchase. I 've listed the prices in the photos. Next time, I 'll pick one up. STUBBORN Soda is served here, and I had the BEST creamy Rootbeer everrrr! We also ordered a bottle of wine; Pinot Noir Joliesse, and enjoyed it with our pizza. The bottle sells for $18 or can be sold by the glass at $7.99.(Happy Hour is M F, 3 6)I ordered the Lunch Special 1 enormous slice of pizza, side salad with homemade croutons, and a drink. All for only $8.99My pepperoni pizza was great! The crust was crispy on the very bottom and doughy soft inside. The sauce is not sweet, and I 'm thrilled b/c I 'm not a fan of sugar sweet sauce. I really wanted to order a Margherita pizza, but Allan only orders Hawaiian, so next time, I need a buddy to share the Margherita pizza!Delivery is available by Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash.FYI: The boxes for the pizzas are a 28 inch square, and the Supreme Pizza weighs 25 lbs!Is that big enough for you? Trust me It 's BIG enough for Big Tex!Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza"
