I loved it was all protein. the base/ sauce was a bit too tomato and slightly sour. for the call and the reviews I expected a little more. would be willing to try again if so much on the menu near."

"So...... Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste ? dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!"

"My husband and I were in the mood for a good burger when we made a reservation at Napkin Burger. We both ordered the truffle burger. They came exactly as ordered. We were happily eating them until we both bit into somethin hard. We spit out the offending bits only to find it was bone. We each had a nasty piece of bone! We called the waitperson over who seemed dismayed and said she'd show the bones to the manager. We carefully finished our burgers. We heard nothing from the manager. We asked our server who was puzzled but went to find the manager. She reported back. She said the meat was ground fresh daily and what we had found in our burgers was gristle. Now, did he really think we couldn't tell the difference between gristle and hard bone? Moreover his answer was a non answer. When the meat is ground is not the issue. He never once came over to say sorry. We weren't asking for any accommodation. We just wanted it noted but a good manager should have come over to, at the very least, apologize. And as an aside, a friend in the restaurant business said Napkin Burger gets it's ground beef from Pat La Frieda and doesn't grind it daily themselves. This is poor management on several levels. Be careful if you eat there."

"we arrived very early on Thursday (11 o'clock) . there were no one when we arrived, then only a few patrons in the bar. consider it, there was no amount, service was not as good as we expected. I think the server would have been a bit more attentive. the food was great! that was my first time here. I noticed that the room in the back would hold about 45-50? "Ordnete the Jalapeno pork and the boneless reserve ribs and asked both to be spicy, this is probably the only Chinese place where I left that truly honors spice and taste. The food was amazing and much better than what I expected from other reviews. The pictures don't look so great because I couldn't help eating the food before I made a picture. "Phenomenal Italian food! They have a gluten-free menu that you do have to ask for but has a large selection! My girlfriend, who has a bad allergy to gluten, had the best time there with me! We shared a gluten-free spinach and artichoke dip with their bread, and I have never had gluten-free bread that good and soft! The dip was very good too. My girlfriend had the gluten-free chicken carbonara and it was exceptionally good! They make it with a chickpea breading. I had their regular gnocchi and it was super soft and the spices added were very flavorful!"

"First visit and the food was okay. Sliders were okay but could've used some cheese. Or a side of sauce. Onions were tasty. Jack Daniel was delicious. The Tropicolada drink was good although missing pineapples and cherries. Monte Cristo....hmm...not the typical Monte Cristo... wasn't fried...more of an open faced sandwich, missing powdered sugar and raspberry sauce. Dessert was great...ice cream with sprinkles. Service was good considering the waiter was new. Quiet environment...very chill ambiance."

The server took a very long time to get the check on us. Speaking of what you're coming here, you're just taking cash. When I asked why it was a non-cash total, the employee reacted The credit card company paid 4% and the restaurant refused to pay. Leave the surcharge to the customer. I know many places do that, but the answer, the restaurant refuses to pay... the restaurant, I am sure, makes a lot where they can. Slow service with fraud fees. I don't recommend this place. That was just my experience."

"I have placed my order this morning at 11:28 as I have recommended delivery time followed by slice of 60-75 minutes. our lunchtime starts at 12:25 and I knew there was a chance that our order could come up to 12:45. Once I received a warning that our order came after 1 o'clock, I called the restaurant and asked them to hurry our order so that the students were not hungry as I ordered for them. at 11:45 a.m. the woman at giovanni assured me that we would get our delivery at 12:30 a.m. at 12:47 I called the restaurant again and said the order was already on the way and would arrive in a few minutes. at 1:17 I called the disc, as instructed, because I had not received my order. the representative called twice the restaurant and was sure that the order was in 20 minutes, and then only 5. I was refunded only $10 and had no pizza for hungry students. Once the pizza came, it was best lukewarm, and the quality is not what I expected from giovanni’s. I would not recommend that someone use discs or order of giovanni if they have starving or randomly need food within a two-hour period. we finally got the pizzas (we only ordered 2 and nothing special) at 13:38 clock 130 minutes after my order."

"I was charged $19 for soup and a handful of fries. The soup clearly say $5.50 on the menu for the larger size. I didn’t see a price for an order of fries but figured everything together would be around $12-$13. When I called to ask what happened after my partner came home with the food they told me they charged me about $12 for the soup alone. I questioned why I wasn’t charged what was on the menu and was told that they only serve soup for that price when you eat in the restaurant. This was not specified on the menu whatsoever, nor was it mentioned to me when I called to order. I was begrudgingly told I could return for a $5 refund but I don’t feel like dragging myself out of bed with the stomach bug. I’ve always gone here because it is convenient but after this experience and the multiple times I’ve found hair in my food (at least 3) I will not be returning."
