"I ordered a small Chicago classic with sausage and mushrooms for pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, the cashier said that he cannot find my order. Than a woman, who was working, overheard me when I showed the cashier my recent call list on my iPhone. She said she was from the Highland Park store and that the order was accidentally placed there. I then told her I am not driving to Highland Park. She said I don’t have to and that if I would wait 30 minutes, they will give me one for free. That was satisfactory for me so I agreed. When an employee brought me the pizza, I noticed that it was large, not the small one I ordered. I was really overwhelmed and I have to say that Lou Malnati’s really is generous in rectifying a mistake!"

"For anyone new to Chicago or trying out deep dish pizzas, Lou Malnati's is the gold standard. They have very rich pizzas, and compared to Giordano's are slightly cheaper. The tradeoff between Lou Malnati's and Giordano's is the cheese. Giordano is heavy on the cheese, while Lou Malnati's is heavy on sauces. But that's not to say their pizzas aren't anything short of good. Be mindful of servings though. Deep Dish pizzas are a lot more filling, and most people will feel really full after 2 slices"

"I love Lou Malnati's and it's the only pizzeria that I have frequented since I learned of it 13 years ago. I prefer their crustless and deep dish over their thin crust. The Malnati salad is my favorite salad, I think it's their dressing that makes it taste so good. On this day, I ordered a medium pizza from the Western Springs location for pickup. I was running late and the manager was nice enough to call me and he offered to make me a fresh pizza. I accepted and upon pickup he informed me that he made me a large pizza that was so kind. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Parking: Lou Malnati's is located in a shopping center, there's a Mariano's, Small Cakes, Walgreens and more that share the parking lots."
