"not sure why this place is so popular. the food is in the average. burgers are good. everything else is just sad. Pizza toppings were essentially raw. that wouldn't bother."

"After we had a really bad experience at the place in wailea, we were so pleasantly surprised by our experience in lahaina. we spent weeks looking for an opening for a reservation and got one for this location. while we stay in kihei, we have a last minute reservation that has appeared for wailea and we were thrilled with the idea of two nights in one of their restaurants. the experience was not good in wailea. in and out in 49 minutes. first he saw the waiter when he took our order and when we were finished eating. everything had come up at once. our appetizer came first. then five minutes later our drinks appeared and then one minute later our dinner. it was as if we were rushing. but at the location lahaina the waitress was incredible and we had a much more relaxed experience. Nice if you can spend an hour and 40 minutes eating and don't feel rushed to get the next people. the food and the whole staff really enjoyed it. beautiful that we gave her chain a second chance and definitely back at the location lahaina."

"LOVE our experiences at Monkeypod. The Lilikoi foam is amazing. The Coco Corn Chowder is my go to as well as the Lobster Deviled eggs. Weâll be there one more time before we head back to the mainland and we are seriously looking forward to it."
