"Have been a fan of Mustards since it opened in 1983 (guess I just dated myself). I do my best to eat here at least 3x a year when I did not live in the Bay Area, I did my best to come once a year....this place is that good!!! Today after picking up our wine allotments from 2 wineries, we had a late lunch again was overwhelmed with joy. I started with the Tomato Eggplant Bisque w/black pepper croutons. My dining companion had their heirloom tomato salad w/cucumbers, grapes, olives feta (both yummy). We both ended up having the fish of the day which was Local Halibut w/fresh butter bean stew/Cavolo Nero Romesco (let me tell you, it was a gift from the gods of curating a delicious meal !! It may not sound like a sublime combination but it went above beyond in taste. Although we both were plenty full, we had to have dessert. The Ever Changing Dessert was divine as well (I can 't describe it as well as Marie, our waitperson did, but it was similar to a bread pudding cake w/raisins vanilla ice cream--double yum)!! So here it is a day later I 'm still reflecting on what a wonderful meal it was. Sorry to write so much but Mustard 's has proven again again how outstanding it is. I know they will keep up the good work for many years to come!"
