"What is a “Burgher Haus?” Why is it a buffet and grill at the same time? Is California, Missouri a city? A state? Two states? None of these questions matter. Even though it’s 30 minutes off of 70, I’ll be coming back next time I’m driving to KC from STL. Truly awesome burgers. Chicken looked great maybe I’ll try that next but the burgers are guaranteed 158% better than any similar offerings down 70. Someone is in the back making those patties. Deserts are fantastic. Service fast and pleasant. And there’s a buffet if you can’t decide what to get. I may not be any closer to understanding the geographic anomaly that is “California, Missouri,” but I now know what a Burgher House is and I love it."

"It was OK and nothing like I had heard. Their selection of burger types is impressive, the staff is nice; however when each person is about $19 for a burger and fries you expect the food to be well done. The buns were a bit soggy, possibly due to the condiments that they used to assemble, the meat was ok it did not taste like choice ground and the cook lenght was ok. If your looking for a quick place to grab a bite then they are ok but be prepared for a larger then normal bill.Almost like a Burger King on steroids for food and price. About a comparable taste."

"really great burgers! my friend got the mushroom Swiss burger and I got the (vegetarian) Athens burger. both were out of the charts! I loved the Multi-Körner Book where it came. They also had two other Veg options - black bean burgers and impossible burgers, which was a big plus for me. the sweet potato fries and mozz sticks with Marinara were also great!"

"We were in the area to check out the M&M factory, when we saw this burger place at the corner of our eyes. I'm not sure if I was More curious to see the type of burgers? I had or just to make sure that they actually have 30 different ones. (Truth and advertising ya know)First of all yes they do have 30 different types of burgers. With so many choices? it could be difficult to pick one out but I'll go to choices to ask the people working there which one they recommend which rarely fails us. Not that we always go with their choice though.I think the name of the woman that helped us there was Merari. she was very helpful as it was our first time here obviously. She recommended a couple of choices and we picked one. (Update after checking) we also decided to get some fries and a drink ?and make this a meal. Mind you we had just eaten about an hour before here. (Got to try everything right?)Since there's no eating inside at this location we ate in the car. However we've set our car up so that we can eat in there comfortably so it's not really a problem anymore. The fries ?were an amazing amount! Many places can get cheap but this place did not! The burger was absolutely one of the best we've ever had and you know if you're following me how many burger places we try... It's a lot!Another reviewer on here commented that the burger had soaked through his bun by the time he got home. I do not disagree with that happening. That is a mistake that we learned from trying to eat take out. In this current condition it's hard to take out certain foods. Better to eat in your car ?right away.This burger was well worth it eating in the car not being able to eat inside and for the price This is a great burger with fresh ingredients very tasty beef. "I've been coming here for almost 10 years now since highschool... The burger selection is always great and the buns are nice and soft. They complete your burger well. I recommend the bison burger.The atmosphere gives you a cool retro burger and milkshake vibe of the 50s. One of my favorites in the area!"
