"I grew up in Orange County and I remember when Garden Grove was just developing into Little Saigon, we didn’t have the array of vietnamse restaurants as there are today. Restaurants come and go in this quaint little city but there are a few that we hope are here to stay. Thanh My is part of the many strip-mall-plaza that litter this part of Garden Grove and it is the epitome of all the restaurants nearby. Nothing fancy but the food is good. We dined with a friend who is Vietnamese so she was able to order everything, not that it was hard to order as a non-Vietnamese, but I always feel that restaurateurs are partial to their kind, so we were in good hands. We had good service, the food came flying in after we ordered. We ordered so many dishes amongst us (9 diners) and it was great that we were able to sample a lot from their menu. Parking is plentiful and the place has a familial feel to it. Their menus is the standard menu, nothing out of the ordinary."

"My new favorite for Asian food. I think this is the best asian cuisine in Denver. The menu is huge, which made me nervous. Usually big menus mean everything is mediocre. Not the case here. The ginger chicken tasted like fresh ginger. The chow mein noodles were thin and crispy; unlike anything I've had before. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. No MSG here! Everything was delicious! Service was fast. Nice atmosphere. Very wonderful meal."

"1st time dinning here. Tried 7 course beef, it was extremely disappointing. There was no flavor to any of the beef. The stinky dipping sauce looked so watered down. Tried same dishes at a different restaurant this did not come close. When the food was placed on the table, the 1st impression was wth, what is this? The beef congee was definitely not congee, it was pasta! Asked the manager he said it's called congee because they don't have a word for pasta. Will NEVER come back to this place again."

"It's a Vietnamese restaurant, but the owner is Thai. The inside of the restaurant is also very clean. Tom Yum Soup/ Spring Roll is also a great taste. I strongly recommend it."

"Such a delicious local spot! We combined the pineapple fried rice with curry tofu and it was 5 stars! Really grateful that our community rallied to support them throughout the pandemic — would’ve been tragic to lose this staple. "All I can say is that I'm just addicted to beef Pho #12. I've eaten at least 4 times a week since I tried. The food is tasty... have tried #36 and the egg rolls too. The shrimp spring rolls also act fresh"

"Best Vietnamese food I had in USA! And I’ve had Vietnamese food in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. The price is also fantastically fair. The food is phenomenal! Unbelievably fresh and delicious. This is a hidden gem in city heights. I found out about it only by chance because of the Street vender style barbecue stand outside reminded me of my home when I was very much homesick. The spring roll, it’s only $4.75! And the roll is huge! With big shrimp and fresh pork belly inside. The sauce is the best I’ve had, very fresh and amazing. The BBQ pork and egg roll with vermicelli 52) is my personal favorite! Haven’t tried other items yet. Their avocado shake is only &3.50 and sooooo yummy in a hot humid day. Just an amazing restaurant. You’ll thank me if you go."

"Pretty interior clean and well kept. Food is excellent, authentic, and expertly prepared and presented: not surprising, given the influence of the French on cooking in South Vietnam and the fact that the owners were boat people who fled Viet Nam when Saigon fell. Prices are exceptionally good especially considering the quality of the food and lovely service."

"This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I wish it were closer to my house as I would be here every other day! The food is fresh, there are numerous sauces on the table, and the service is good. If I am anywhere near this area, I have to stop in for something. Even if it is just a fresh roll. Yes, they are that good!"

"Large portions, good prices. There are other good choices in the neighborhood, but if you're in the mood for Pho, look no further. I knew we were in the right spot when we were the only white faces in the place. Friendly, fast, highly recommend!"

"This has been one of my favorites pho Sadly today I was very disappointed my husband and I ordered an order of cream cheese wontons the came out burned and they have a very horrible taste. We also order the rice noodles bowl and the egg roll tested the same like they have been frying with a very very old oil . The place is very dirty the bathrooms have grease even in the walls and the floors are super slippery my mom almost fell it makes me wonder how clean is the cooking station."
