"delicious food! the makkaroni cake was rich in taste and the escovitch fish was delicious. the dumplings were also delicious. I had an ananas ingwer juice and refreshed it. great customer service too. all in all a great experience."

"The food is good but they always have you waiting no matter if you call in the order or do it online. I placed my order online they told me it will be ready in 20 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later and still didn't get my food for another 20 minutes."

"Im not going to do them too bad because I was only in town visiting and I believe this is the only Caribbean spot in town but baby it was a disappointment. I ordered a beef patty and Brown stew Chicken meal. The patty was definitely not a real beef patty. It had no flakes and everybody know jamaican patties have you covered when you eat them. Then my food. First of all Jamaicans LOVEEEE GRAVY!!! My Brown stew meal had NO gravy at all in it. The rice and peas had no flavor at all and the cabbage had no seasoning. They can't have a Yardie in that kitchen cooking all that blan food. Yall gots to do better!"

"BEST JAMAICAN FOOD I’VE HAD IN ATLANTA GEORGIA . I tried literally several things in 2 days and everything was AMAZING. The curry goat is always on point , the jerk chicken is succulent and taste like actual jerk chicken, the meat itself was a little fresh but when the sauce is added, it’s a whole different ball game. The ackee and Saltfish was really good with the plain rice. Their fritters and dumplings 5/5 and the cornmeal porridge 100/10. Gordon Spice is taking all my money. 100% satisfied as a customer and a foodie."

"I visited the location in Vernon CT on Hartford Turnpike for dinner. I ordered the large fried chicken meal and my husband had the large j chicken meal. I have NEVER had Jamaican fried chicken like this EVER before! The coating on the chicken was like rock stone, the inside was very dry and bland. I was very disappointed with the food I received and the amount of money spent. My husband said his chicken was very dry as well. The only thing that was good was the oxtail gravy that I had on the rice and peas. The rice and cabbage was ok.I honestly feel like the fried chicken was a few days old and they just reheated it. I have NEVER experienced chicken this way from ANYWHERE.I’m a chef myself and I do give credit when it’s due but this experience was unbelievably bad. I honestly felt that I was going to break a tooth if I continued eating it."

"Yesterday, I purchased a chicken roti on Pitkin Ave for $11. Unfortunately, it was incredibly salty to the point where I couldn't taste any other flavors. I tried my best to eat as much as I could, but ended up throwing most of it away. It was a big letdown and I will not be returning. I'll stick to patties from now on."

"Ive eaten from this restaurant plenty of times and the food is ALWAYS good! However, today I wasnt too pleased with my order. The sweet chilli wings were dry and the small side order of Rasta Pasta was packed in with the wings, salad, and rice and it was a mushy mess! I dont think I will order the sweet chilli wings again. Maybe Ill stick with the shrimp because it was much better!"

"The food is amazing here but just please improve the shrimp concerning the cleaning and the taste of it. I haven't ordered from there in a while but I hope it's improved the next time I buy. Overall this resteraunt is good and no resteraunt is perfect. There is always going to be some flaws. However, this resteraunt is doing really good and also better than other resteraunts around the neighborhood especially for a resteraunt that just started. Respect."

"Catered our EVS Week and Christmas party. Staff loved the food. On time and tasty. They were so good for EVS week we used them again for our Christmas lunch and dinner for the staff.Excellent food. I personally love the sweet and sour chicken."

"The food is good but they like to substitute items without confirming with the customer. I paid for steamed vegetables but was given a salad and this isnt the first time. I wont order via doordash again and will go to the queens location, theyre much better."

"Worst service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!Every time you go it’s a different price. On the menu it’s $3.00 each for a patty I bought 2 chicken Patties. Gave the lady at the register $6 cash. She’s going to tell me it’s tax on Patties. Since when???? Just last week I paid $6. On top of that you buy food from them they charge for plastic bag to put your food in. Just ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend……."
