We arrived today to go a few cattlepest, but were shocked and discouraged to find the restaurant closed and a For Lease sign at the door. What a tragic loss for this community! We don't know what brought down the Cattle Drive, but we miss this team and appreciate their many years of service. ORIGINAL OVERVIEW: My family and I have been visiting Cattle Drive for a few decades and the beef spokes are always OUTSTANDING. I'm sure the other food is great, but I'm tied to these spits. Potatoes are consistent in high quality and texture. The meat and sauce are delicious and the overall package is quite large. There are several barbecue areas around the area of Houston that we love, but in our opinion Cattle Drive offers THE Superior Beef Spud. On a side note, my wife is partially paralyzed and wheelchair-bound and we have found the staff to help us with logistical questions regarding wheelchair-friendly seating and so on. The young lady who has often seen to ring the lunch orders (the name escapes me) is especially friendly to my wife and often helps us to wear our tablets on the table when my hands are full (without being asked). I am stunned by some of the negative Google reviews written. Our satisfaction has always been 100%, even during the pandemic. I'm sure everyone makes mistakes and has bad days, but my family has never been disappointed with Cattle Drive's food or service. My only objective criticism would be the fact that if we dive into our clothes smelled for the rest of the day, but what a small price to pay for excellent grill. We live about 40 minutes away from Cattle Drive, but these cattle feeds are worth ALWAYS."
