"I've been to Bugsy twice, and both times I had a real deep-court pizza. Don't confuse this with the pizza pizzeria you and I grew up with. This pizza is over one inch thick and this is with tons of cheese and toppings weigh it down! The crust is perfectly boiled, neither dirty nor excessively crispy, and has a good taste and even texture. I recommend the Bay Pizza (Shrimp is different, but really delicious! and they will bring happy You have some old Bay season ( trust me, you want this flavor combination to add at the table when you ask. I saw people get burgers next to me and comes out a huge plate of frits as your included side, so the portions seem generous for other dishes! The atmosphere is rustic and local with exposed wooden beams, a decorative fireplace and other decor on the walls. The temperature was warm and comfortable in winter, so no one around me wore their coat, unlike some typical chain restaurants. Service was friendly, punctual, and I had a good meal. The only drawback was that wells are filled with ice cream and you only get two free refills that are quite stingy for $3.25. I pulled a star off an otherwise excellent experience, but if you want a great pizza from a small local restaurant, I recommend Bugsy's!"
