"In person great food, great prices, great portions. Pero when I try to order online, or have called, siempre cerrado, it's closed. I can't order or get someone online. Twice ordered in person and service was excellent. Just this Monday we tried to order and it was closed mid-day. And now Friday at 2:30 no one is answering the phones nor are the apps taking orders. When is it a good time to call? to order? It doesn't make sense. We want to support but how can we if they are rarely available when we call?for these reasons it gets a 4:5 but really the food is 5/5 if and when you can get it"

"Was craving Mexican food but wanted something new and closer toward home. It was a cold, windy and rainy day when we came.The host/server was extremely hospitable. He was very friendly and outgoing. Since we were the only table dining indoor on such a cold rainy day, we had his undivided attention. Great service, attention to details (refills and extra napkins without even asking and just an awesome vibe.He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. We asked the differences in some items that were familiar food and not familiar (which is why we came to learn and explore new food ... we also asked for the authentic food vs the well known American-ize food so that we can understand the cuisine/food abit more. He sold me on his favorite dish which he said, it is an acquired taste ad it was more of a stew and not many Americans would like the taste. I ended up loving it!Hubby and I came for lunch (lunch date! And left very satisfied and happy. We ordered chips with guacamole that also comes with salsa (server brough us hot sauce as well because hot sauce on chips is yum . Ordered:*Large Chips with Guacamole *Taco (3- steak and mixed on corn tortilla *Bistec Ala Mexican*2 Cokes The Bistec Ala Mexican is more of a stew, the server says combining the rice with the spicy tomato is the way to go. Toward the end, I just dump the rest of the rice and beans straight into the bowl and mixed it. It was very lovely and spicy.I would definitely recommend and come back. Both the food quality and service was amazing!"

"Very good Mexican restaurant. Just a minute. We haven't been here yet. It was very busy, but the staff stayed at the pace. Chips were crispy and warm. Salsa was good. White sauce was okay. The menu was wide, but quite typical of a Mexican restaurant. We ordered Texas Fajitas for two. Very good! Impressive presentation. It gave us the feeling we would like to come back. We'll try something else next time, but maybe a great experience. Definitely recommend trying this place!"

"I only give this place 3 stars because of their extreme dog-efrier line (they have an exclusive dog menu and brought my pup an ice water) and their friendly staff. eating was really nothing special. we got the veggie relleno and the cactus tacos, no one in the group was really satisfied with the quality. overall a subpar experience, but at least try it."

"This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and cheese fries. As I picked up my order, the staff gave me a complimentary chicken leg to try, and it was delicious. The chicken parmigiana had perfectly cooked fillets that could hold their own in today's chicken sandwich competitions. It was one of the best chicken parmes I've ever tasted. The cheese fries were also excellent. I highly recommend this place to everyone. You won't be disappointed."

"We were vacationing here and craving Mexican cuisine. Jose Tequila's did not disappoint! Let's keep it simple. There was no wait. There was a bunch of extremely helpful waiters. There was a bunch of good food! Everything was also incredibly clean and inviting. Their guacamole dip was enough to win me over. It was very fresh and delicious. Our food was prompt, hot, and tasty. I can't remember what my dish was called, but I've attached a picture. It was a very healthy portion and did not disappoint at all. Definitely try this restaurant out!"

"You can beat prices or serving sizes at Jose Tequilas Mexican Bar and Grill. We sat immediately and started mixing on the chips. I ordered the big sampler, who consisted of two plates full of food. My wife has the Tacos de Birria. It is used to keep the taco during diving, but as they were prepared, she had to use her fork for diving. No big problem. The 15 minutes wait from the time we were finished when we got our check. Maybe the server was on the break, or had a large group he supported, it felt like a long time for us. Overall, our culinary experience was a good one."

"My experience with Jose Tequila's was alright. The service was ok. Entering the restaurant the Hotess was not friendly she was folding kids menus when we walked up. We patiently waited on her to finish folding before I had to say hello.Then with attitude she seated us. The waiter came over promptly and asked us what we wanted to drink. In no time our drinks arrived and we were ready to order. Our order came out. I ordered the Fajita salad and and chicken bowl. The food tasted ok and it was nothing to right home about. I'm not sure if it was a bad lunch but they can do better............ Second visit: This time around I came with my friends and family. The experience was a little different. The service was quick. We were checked on and our cups were refilled promptly. Our waiter worked really hard. I can't remember his name but shout to him. I kept calling him Jose' lol. He answered to it. He was great. The food was fresh and fantastic the place was packed but the service did not lack. Kudos to the staff much better improvement."

"I chose to visit this restaurant because I noticed their parking lot was always full. I tried the paloma, which was decent; it's not my usual drink, but it's relatively low in calories (kind of). The pina colada was also enjoyable and quite sweet, which is great if that's what you prefer. The salmon was just okay, but I plan to try the snapper on my next visit. I heard that the Chile carnitas burrito is really good. The standout features of Jose Tequila were the freshly made guacamole, which was truly fresh and hard to stop eating, and the generous portion sizes. Plus, it's very reasonably priced."
